I think It's not muchen being trash
It's just he is fighting against mc

Yang Gan is missing so Chu Muchen is 4th now.

By winning the 3v3 as solo, MC shoots up to top 4. Possibly even higher considering MC can solo the duo and Chu Muchen consecutively without any prep time or rest.

Yeah, i wouldn't take my eyes off he gang, maybe he stole our Qi? That's why we are so tired? Now he is waiting to fight chu muchen?

This whole fight seems to be opening up a lot of branching and variation of the likes we haven't seen before in poma. Or maybe i am wrong and it only has a few branches. The way I see it is that Yuan Fang distracts Chu Muchen while we deal with the twins. Idk how the art we developed for him comes into play here. If He Gang cooperation is got, then it's 2v2 vs the twins? If not he just watches? Or he joins Yuan Fang to distract Chu Muchen? After the twins are defeated, 2v1 against Chu Muchen or 1v1? If He Gang doesn't fight the entire match, then he steals our spotlight against Chu Muchen after we beat him up? Or he waits for Chu Muchen to beat us so that he can get the glory by beating a weakened Chu Muchen?

There just seems to be space for so much variation just from first glance of the sneak peeks. Half of this might not happen but it's nice to dream lol.

I'm betting that the two pre-3v3 events (with Yuan Fang and the one with He Gang) are practically irrelevant and of no consequence. What I think is that no matter what the outcome of these two events, Yuan Fang will still manage to distract Muchen long enough and He Gang won't help one bit.

Maybe it's rude of me, but from what I've seen of Nicky, he doesn't have the attitude or the will to make a fight with so many variables.

That would just be poor writing at the end of the day.

Are there any variables linked to the conversation we have with them? I mean we can poison or ask Su De to go easy on us.

Intrestingly enough there is a variable for He Gang if you pass the charisma check. *set gang_tourney_cooperation true is set after you pass the check. So maybe there is actually something to it. But hey, could always be another of Nicky's tricks.

Yes, exactly. But in the end, it was just my bet based on how I see Nicky and his behavior. Don't take it too seriously, after all, Nicky has already proven himself capable of good changes.

Also this might be a spoiler so I'll mark it as such. But it appears Yuan Fang is actually a puppet. Besides the perception checks when talking to him after developing the art for him, there is also something else.

The variable that sets the fact that you developed the art for him is called shengjue_art. And unless I am misunderstanding, it is a name. So Yuan Fang is either not who he seems to be, is working for someone who's named Sheng Jue, or is puppeted by a cultivator with that name. It could be the mysterious Second maybe but tbh I have no clue.

Fang Yuan being a fake name would be sick tbh. Always thought there was something off about him having a zombie physique. Why would someone lay with a corpse?
