Am i the only one who gets annoyed when reading things like the this? When Ruo does his celestial form, Niki writes it so that MC wants to submit and revere him but the GS objects and fills our mind with defiance. Again with the First when MC gets anxious and nervous when intervening. The latter is understandable since he did beat the top 2 PH's in the sect with relative ease although he suffered injuries as well. I think stuff like this happens quite a bit throughout the game where Niki just decides the MC is scared or nervous or not confident.

Yes, as it is generally written, the MC is somewhere between a pessimistic and a realistic guy, he is hardly confident or optimistic except when the player specifically chooses to be. And yes, situations like this one with Ruo or when facing a superior character are quite annoying in terms of how the MC acts. In my opinion, in these situations, Iron Will should always provide at least some flavor text, just like Jade Dragon does in AC.

You're not the only one, Ruo is the asspull merchant in POMA and the game practically screams it in your ear, the whole dragon thing, the celestial form, the blade thing etc etc, it's genuinely so lame since there's literally no actual real character or human aspects to them or any interesting writing whatsoever so it just feels like it's dragging the player down, this is made even more blatant in the Patreon Q&As with their 0 personality edgy responses, I can guarantee that when we get the golden ocean and our core formation Ruo will manage a whole ****ing buttdrag and surpass us again somehow, what with the heaven angel child or whatever the **** is going with them, I wouldn't be too surprised if they're supposed to be a self insert or whatever.

Is there a reason why Strength is hard capped at 100 unless on story mode no matter what I do changes that from Qi infusion, the rings, Asura transformation, and even the devil breakout?

100 is the hard limit rn I believe because of the combat system rebalancing, it used to be in the thousands before but that got changed.


As for why I think it's so it can be simpler to code in checks and crits and all that so the game can progress faster to release.

jfc I'm mostly clowning here since Ruo does get their *** beat quite a few times but it's frustrating at points when you think you've actually won over them in power fair and square.

The thing is that all my other stats can get well over 100 with all the buffs we can get it's just strength that cant for some reason

The story hasn't ended yet, and we still have Chaos Origin Physique, I can guarantee you Nikki is gonna find a way to make us fight her and win despite her being a god, she's literally the main villain ffs

Also, not really relevant since I can guarantee you as well that MC is also stronger then said Peak Houtians, hell, literally all of the arena opponents with the exception of one are ALL peak Houtians, and you can beat them with utter ease if you invest half decently, the only real problem is how fast the story presents people who are massively stronger and Ruo, just like, literally everything about Ruo.

You guy’s think Ruo is bad just wait for the war to kick off. Niki pet is definitely Yichen tho, his old *** is going to pull off some crazy he feats, just wait for it lol. He just loves those two for some reason. Yichen even more than Ruo. If Ruo has Nepotools, Yichen has Authortools.
