Now some q's for the community:

1. Will the mc's greatness ever properly be acknowledged outside of tournaments n fights lmao?

2. Is ruo even an actual romance option/will they ever be lol?

3. Why does Buzz Lightyear (Yue Fang) randomly break into my House n ask me to join star command? xD

4. What are the benefits of joining star command?

5. If you join flappy bird you get the triforce (tri-dao) from Zelda - but what do you get for being loyal to the empire instead? Nothing lol?

6. How does/will the story change if you don't choose a master (never tried it/always pick Sun Wukong as mine so idk lol)?

2. Ruo is meant to be male and if there's anything that Nicki hates more than making Wu Heir the MC is female Wu heir. I'm expecting the whole slow burn thing to be scrapped soon.

5. A Qi stone if you beg for it. Do you really think the Tangs don't think that Wu heir's loyalty is guaranteed because they think they're stronger/the legitimate rulers? The Tangs having their heads so far up their asses they could see through their mouths is one very consistent thing about them. Wu heir isn't getting ****.

I actually hope that we can betray lady butterfly,, i only alligned myself with her for the tridao and bc i wanna have a antagonistic side to ruo in the war, plus we being known as prince from the rougues while ruo is the imperial prince is pretty cool rival stuff. It is clear that both paths are a dead end, i wish nicky doesn't make me bound to help her, i want it to be like we are with YB, we can extort or just lie to her and don't do what we don't want to, also i'm pretty sure that she tampered with our seed, she implanted something that will screw Wu heir if he betrays her, still, i kinda wanna help the rougues win in the early war just for the glaze and to fk the imperials.

I think it is canonical for the tangs to lose it. Even if wu heir sides with them. The yang clan, the generational royal guards are plotting against them, the rich jing clan is against them, the rogues are more powerful, they have a bunch of shangtians, they have LB. Empire only has TY. DQ and MG don't give a fk.

Counterpoint Niki two favorite are who? TY is definitely his favorite followed by Ruo. He is not making them lose lol, will definitely make an excuse for these bums.

Is Ruo giving us pill has been implemented yet? I don't think I've seen him giving it after the first stage tourney even though in the pov he says this

You need to solo the free for all phase of the tourney I think. I haven't been able to get it otherwise.

From what I recall even sparing the Liu guy or fighting DES was enough to not get it so you gotta do it a very specific way for the pill

You need to fight DEX, Thats the only thing i did and he gave me, you need to see the pov too

It worked for me when I killed Liu Mogui, the Shadow, didn't help the girl and soloed the tourney people. Basically stood alone at the end and got it

Are you me? It took me a while to finish a new playthrough, instead of blitzing through it, kept losing me. Just feels like he prefers certain paths, and builds so others get left out (neutrals) are starving. Still probably my top 5, but not really hyped and impatient for a new update. Story is kinda losing me too, honestly I was happy with MC being the only cultivator and have to make sacrifices to grow stronger like which was originally planned. Now every new character introduced is most likely a cultivator, this guy a disciple of this sect or whatever, this guy from a strong family and realm, this lady is an immortal, this guy is a Dao child, favored by heavens etc. Feel like Wu Heir lost what made them special, yea reincarnated god, but does not feel special in the slightest. Idk guess I’m used to these stories hammering home the MCs being special. Not even asking for a power fantasy like most would say, just want MC to feel like a MC, and not just one of few special characters, it loses its charm when every other character has something that makes them special. Niki has lost the plot imo. My weekly rant it over.

It's obvious that Nicki is tailoring the game solely to the whims of his discord and his need to have Ruo be the 'real MC' while the MC is a side character, while ignoring every other path or choice that someone else would take. It seems so tbh, he clearly doesn't care much anymore, if you ever play Jinlai it feels a lot more better written then the latest POMA update and it feels much much more passionate then POMA, the discord completely ruined this game.

The only reason I am still here is for the story tbh, I really do not care about the mechanics. I played it since first version, when it was a barebones sandbox like. He keeps changing it, and don’t care if 85% of it will be non canon. Narrative and Story matters most to me, him reworking systems, changing lore, is whatever to me at this point. Understandable yes, but tbh I’m sticking around because I’m in too deep, and need to see it through.

Me too. I believe poma's potential is huge if Niki can stitch together the gameplay and narrative. There were occasions where i thought the gameplay felt as natural as the narrative sequences but unfortunately thats not the case for the entirety of the game. Tbh even the new update didnt give me that feeling. I still feel that the gameplay is very detached from the narrative elements. What you do during the gameplay sequences should be reflected during the narrative sequences and vice versa. AC gave me that vibe especially in the latest update during the fight against Crusher Jack. You see npcs respond to what the MC does during the fight, what technique they use and how they use it. The occasionaly npc's going wtf when MC uses the Jade dragon, the demon guy in the cave comes to my mind. Stuff like this would push poma to the next level. Poma is better in terms of story for me and AC has better gameplay. I still didnt get the itch to replay AC whereas i wanted to replay poma multiple times just cuz the story clicked with me.
