Nicky should honestly refrain from sharing relevant lore content with anyone who is not a "co-author," which, as far as we know, does not exist. It is simply counterproductive and one of the reasons why the lore and power scale today is a mess. Like, curious facts such as, I don't know, "Chaos (Dragon Ball) would stomp Yichen" or even something slightly relevant like "Wu Jia was the strongest of her time," are things that don't cause problems if revealed, but things that should be secrets or backstories of important characters are simply things that should be "game content," especially if the story hasn't even reached that point yet.
It would be nice if the RO situation was clearer but yeah stuff like this should probably be told in game.

Am I the only one who thinks Yichen is planning something for Ruo similar to what Blood King planned for Tang Wei? I mean, I don't have the facts to make a good argument, it's more of an assumption based on some inferences and my desire for Ruo to get screwed...
What inferences do you mean? I mean, TW's plan for POMA is literally a large scale version of Blood King's ritual. We know that Yichen and Ruo know about TW's plan. There's the ancestral droplet we know nothing about. There's also these visions and guidance he keeps recieving. He went out of his way to literally murder an entire race by sacrificing half his lifespan. Now that i think of it, it does seem plausible lol. So, MC and Ruo vs Yichen when?

Imo, that was the best option yichen could've taken with us if we refuse, why let mc the only one capable of challenging and outpacing ruo leave after you refuse to ally with him, tie up a loose end before it becomes a threat

After all the bugfixes haunting him in the past few weeks, Late January seems to be a more realistic estimate for chapter 9. It would be a miracle if Anon could finish the whole chapter by Christmas
Him threatening us to accept the offer already makes it worthless. At that point it's just words that we'll agree to under duress.

I think smart option could be killing mc from the moment you know he is tang wei

Just inferences based on Yichen's history, that he is very manipulative and fully capable of feigning affection and patience, and that, if I remember correctly, Jia called Ruo a aberration or mutant.
