I expected this from those self insert romance authors out there but not Niki. Atleast before in instances where he glazes other characters via MC's thoughts, he didn't go overboard making MC seem like a pathetic incel like now. Idk what went through his mind writing this scene. IF authors who actually love their MC is in high demand these days.

If it's any consolation to you people, I asked my friend for information, and according to him, the new guy has powers/arts/spells related to *** and seduction. It didn't really convince me, but it's good to know that at least there's an explanation and the MC doesn't just have some kind of weird submissive fetish.
If He Gang's body truly got taken over it would explain why they chose taking over a corpse, if this is what happens when they take a normal looking body it would raise too much attention, it also would also explain why people didn't even make big scenes over having a decimated corpse talk and live amongst them, I sense that their "charm" is one of their main weapons.

Be that as it may, how embarrassing and humiliating it is to think that the reincarnation of TW falling for arts like this? You have the dao seed pressing us to not submit to Ruo (which I thought was bullshit) but not here? Although I can forgive Niki if the next panel is MC suddenly breaking out of the spell and shocking him. Add something like "I've never seen anyone break away from my spell before". Or add a scene before or afterhand showing how his powers affect people like Ruo or some major character. This way, you'll not humiliate the MC solely and at the same time set up that he has powerful seductive powers. No one with their right mind wants to see their character lose their autonomy in a way which is absurdly humiliating, even more considering the stature of your character.
I really don't like the idea that he has to supress his art for MC to be free. And if this is the case, what's stopping him from doing it again? Cuz he doesn't want MC to give in? You won't see Niki writing Ruo falling for arts like this cuz he can't have his precious lizard lose a speck of pride.
A check there would be nice but I have my doubts. Niki could have written this seductive ability a lot better but he wrote it in a way which strips MC of their dignity, and playing with a characters dignity is best way to disturb the readers. I do think iam overreacting from that one slide but I was just so disgusted with that sneak peek that I cant help myself.
I’ve saw this coming once more and more cultivators and such started to be introduced. He’s going to glaze every new character, “look how handsome and more alluring he is” just makes me laugh. Enough is enough seriously, MC is TW, Wu Heir should be the one making people feel like that. No lie if TW knew how much a bum MC was going to be, definitely would not have did what he did.
I tried to control my devil breakout I can’t, dude couldn’t even let He Gang be left to Wu Heir, but no let me introduce a random *** character that gets first shot at He Gang? I can already tell a new character will be introduced and will be beating Ruo before the MC can fight him again. I’m not asking for Wu Heir to have everything revolve around them, I’m asking for Niki to write them with respect? Because the things he does to Wu Heir, he would never do it to Mei or Ruo… characters he clearly loves and respect.
So dumb every new character has to little bro MC, then what’s the point? Oh because for five minutes at the end of the story Wu Heir will be untouchable. I don’t care if the journey is not worth it, if the MC in the epilogue is the strongest, does not fix all the other gripes…

Also this is funny even lady butterfly charm who is an immortal wasn't this bad mc was in love like feeling but his golden seed was buzzing here it looks like nothing like that is happening.
