This update really had it all: emotional moments with the old man and mom, money for developing wu clan, tri-dao for everyone, dao perfection and a stealth artifact that works even against shangtians (that mask made me remember the weaver mask of shadow slave)



Despite having a problem with a LOT of poma bullshit i have to admit nicky really listens, replaying from the beginning and seeing the regeneration and iron will talents have so much more recognition makes me happy, also kudos for adding a nod If you reached middle houtian in the fight with the 3 idiots working for tinguang and for reworking in some dialogues like the one with yue yan, its those little things that spark my liking for poma.

What is that supposed to mean? What makes him special? Chao has become more interesting, I wish we could learn more.

Remember Grandpa managed to scheme against the heavens to the point even TW praised him. It would be lightwork to manipulate LB if Grandpa was able to out manuever the heavens. My belief is that Grandpa is a family man, whether he's truly good or bad is not possible to tell atm. The mask is said to dispel ones presence against even the strongest of Shangtains, but LB is an immortal. I believe she knew Mom was there whereas Grandpa didnt. Now how this connects to the rest of the story idk. Its normal to constantly hear conflicting stories about the morality of a characer. It will constantly keep the readers on edge until the reveal.

Since Chao's supreme art and aura help unlock tri dao, I'd hazard a guess that it is the closest a Martial Artist can get to tri dao, which is an insane feat and further illustrating the guy's potential.

What the Wu Heir should be wary of is that she fws him, not you. LB probably plans to feed us TW remnant memories and stuff to make the Wu Heir more like her dead master. If she figures out the Devil you can be sure she'll help him take over our bodies.

On that scene I kinda wish we got a bigger prestige boost and acknowledgement if we reach middle houtian early. Even Ruo only breaks to middle-houtian right before the expedition starts.

The Wu clan just so happens to have arts which are inferior versions of TW's dao. The flesh scorching kick uses elemental fire, the palm and demon finger comes from body dao and void step comes from void dao. The way i see it is that Chao happened to have perfected the inferior version of TW's dao and by using it to its full potential together, it enlightened MC who had latent potential to unlock all said dao or for MC's with tri dao to increase its potency. Or maybe it was all circumstantial or even planned that MC happened to be born in a clan which has been using the washed down versions of TW's dao. I think it makes perfect sense as to MC unlocking tri dao here than anywhere else. I also liked the sentiment that Chao actually passed on something of his own to his son, That was good writing by Niki.
