Apparently, plans have changed. During the conversation with Wu Chao, he said that the MC was an angel, a "robot" controlled by Heavens. Fortunately, with the interference of his mother, father and grandfather, the MC turned out to be neither an incomplete clone nor an angel, but in fact the second coming of Tang Wei.
For me, this is the best thing Nicky has done in the whole book, it's something that really sets his story apart, his protagonist was once very powerful, but he's not a reincarnation, nor has he gone back in time... In reality, the MC is the result of two failed plans, plans made by the two most powerful "beings" of all.
Speaking of this i am curious about 3 points:
1. What made zhi run away from the rogues and be so defensive about the subject in the first place (even in death she didn't want for mc to go to delun)
2. Why was Delun adamant on being the one to specifically raise the mc.
3.for the mc to live and be born delun told chao that he need to give up half his soul, it would be cool if there would be a way in the future to get that pill he promised him to "cure" his soul (if it is it's true purpose).
1. The plan originally was for her to “runaway” and get close to chao, but idk if I remember the exact plan but in the end she was supposed to return to the rogues but they fell in love. We also know rogues aren’t all sunshine, but they probably would be better for commoners.
2,It’s probably because they planned to use mc as a weapon, honestly we probably would be as strong as ruo ( I mean fundamentally wise with his resources) and raised to hate the empire and all nobles. We would have all the fundamentals and training growing up, but none of the freedom we would basically be a plant probably no emotions or anything.
3. I believe that was a lie just to try to get him to hate the mc even more so he would have a final reason to give the mc up, I say this because in an ask someone asked niki if mc would be able to help chao get to S or back to normal when mc reached NS and Niki said that is above the capabilities of a NS, I doubt that pill exists.
Part of me wants to believe that Zhong Delun really cares about the MC, after all Tang Wei said that the MC's family really loves him. Although I also doubt that he had the pill capable of repairing the soul, even someone in Core Formation should already be much more capable than any Shangtian, someone in Nascent Soul should be infinitely more capable, even without the use of pills. Tang Wei was "impressed" enough that the grandfather had managed to put an imprint on the MC's soul, I imagine that repairing the soul is on a level above that.
I agree, There still is something that we don’t know about Delun since how adamant Mc mom was about not letting us go with him. I think he purposely weakened Chao because he was the next big thing and star of his generation, he needed Wu weakened even more too. Isn’t it too convenient that chao was a guaranteed going to be one of the top 8 S if he reached it, think he took advantage of the situation to weaken chao.
I used the console to get my MC adopted by DQ... Man, Bohai is a bastard... With the vial I could understand it, after all it was for single use... But to get the manual the MC practically had to stick his head in a tiger's mouth, and Bohai doesn't even let him learn either... That whole "it can only last two or three more comprehensions" thing was probably an exaggeration on his part... Good thing you can "fool" Baldy.

Definitely not a god, Lady butterfly wouldn’t need to do all of this if that was true. There’s only 12 gods including TW, they could potentially conquer worlds easily and this is real cultivation worlds not barren like Poma. No need for all of these games if you’re a god, could make the world kneel easily, think about it this was if an Core formation could beat an S easily what do you think a god would do to them? Plus there’s 5 other ranks after even NS. Lady butterfly can be a NS at best since that’s the highest we’ll reach in the series, but godhood is a whole another level talking thousands of years.
