Idk man. I find POMA lore, story and characters way more interesting. Aura Clash feels more sandboxy than POMA which some like and the fights were fun.

I think so. The thing is, man is too obsessed with sword and sword arts. Characters ingame and Niki keep insisting that he's married to his sword like Jia. But MC isn't like that yet. If we had the sliver of obsession with our cqc now after getting the GS, I'm sure we can probably rediscover the HC palm if we keep using it. But we didn't even try those arts after losing Inner Energy. Besides Niki said we will only use fists and no weapons which tells me the art we create will mostly be a palm or fist art which is common to all routes. Is it too much to ask that I wanna be big boss and chokehold and judo throw my enemies?
It’s because it was too much coding for him, so he mad simple arts for Wu clan. It’s because TW said Ruo soul is most attained to the sword he’s ever seen.
Man im just sad that nobody relevant glazes MC like everyone does for Ruo. The best we got is that rando's pov during the expedition fight lmao. Guess we might see more in the coming POV's. Why cant Niki do some foreshadowing like we're more attuned to palm arts or something. We can use our current Dao arts and throw hands, just more badass this time. Unless he has plans for an entirely different art.

i played ruo as woman and maybe the only difference might be on start when ruo takes off gear you can say maybe drop pants too and a second that might be different is when going to eperor and leaving ruo asks what we talked and you can say about our marriage this creates a funny scene
its is more interesting because its made complex but here is where nicky did a big mistake he made so much that there are plot holes that make no sense and this caused confusion which causes the general story to be weak in my opinion
I was thinking, Yue Fang has to be a cultivator from outside POMA right? He says our world is backwater trash and anyone who grows here would be weak, He keeps talking about our world in third person. He also seems to know who we actually are. I thought it was just a small event to power up virtuous MC's who are not strong enough but there seems to be more to it.

In reality, I'm satisfied with the current MC. At least much more than a few weeks ago. Ever since someone here revealed the truth about the PH stats and after the last update. In my opinion, the MC is already strong enough to be top 4 or 5, possibly stronger.
If I had to complain about anything it would be that the MC never seems to learn that teleporting behind the enemy is almost always useless because that's exactly what they expect.
For the rest, my frustration is more directed at the author who walks hand in hand with Ruo and refuses to turn talents, perks, items and tattoos into something truly canonical (especially the talents).

I agree. The first stage of tourney made it clear that MC at the very least is in the top 10. What do you mean by truth about PH stats?
There is only 3 dao powers, Niki at the very least should make MC use these powers creatively. It kinda gets boring when you do the same "rain punches via void" "blow them away with a guest of wind" "reinforce your body" "hide in void". I loved that archers seq in the tourney where MC senses them via the void. Stuff like that is cool and should be done more.
I'm kinda 50-50 on this. Id love to see perks and talents affecting the narrative but I can also understand it's too much work. If he is to add them, just add specific ones. Like the panda tattoos, regen being referenced, evasions during combat etc. it's kinda immersion breaking when you evade 100% of the attack only for the text to say your spine shatters or you chest collapses.
