tbh martial sovereign is propably the most useless physique when i play i always had like 10 energy left before it replenished not to mention that this expensive talent is useless with qi same for pristine meridians or the organs cant remember which one fills the energy

That would be linear growth if the previous increase was also 10 times. Exponential means more and more rapid so something like 15x vs the previous 10x increase not 10x being followed up by another 10x increase

Damn, I read the side stories and they are very interesting. Love reading more lore and the past of characters. Btw what threat did Yichen even foresee and how? Cant be SLM since she seems more connected to the dragon genocide which Yichen did after. Cant be MC since he asked MC to help Ruo. Is it just a loose prophecy or something? It can either be SLM or MC depending on his choices and he effed up when he decided to kill the dragons thus creating the threat himself? Or is it connected to LB?
What you describe is much less of an exponential growth than what I mentioned, it's a mathematical progression with a variable ratio. Exponential means that the growth rate is multiplicative, but the multiplication factor doesn't have to increase with each step. Let's assume that the progression between realms is a growing exponential, if from Mortal to EH there is an increase of *10, then from PH to EX there must be an increase of *10², or *100.
I didn't mean it in the strict mathematical sense but in the more commonly known variable rate exponential growth sense

Pretty sure it’s connected to TW plans, they found out something related to him and a prophecy, a battle is coming and he needs an expert at a level he could never reach. Now here’s the question when Jia says abomination she’s referring to future Ruo right? Like whatever he’s about to do with the dragon plan, could be MC since Jia said they still have a use for MC when we met her. Now the paradox of the prophecy could be his creation and a loop. I think it’s just the original clone plan, because somehow people found out like our Grandpa. Also Yang Chan and others can peek into the future I believe. Now he also said in this world? No one, so I think it could be a prophecy where LB comes or just maybe a basic prophecy of strong people from other worlds coming. Also on a side note prime Yichen is kinda busted he soloed all dragons casually lol, now I understand why Niki said regularly 100 BP MC would lose to prime Yichen.

That isn't the only thing we know. There is also his vision of something arriving ending all life and destroying the world. That means it can't be Tang Wei since we know he only planned to slaughter the majority of population and get out. Now what did Dreamweaver warn would happen when Shen Long Mu arrive? "her arrival will cease life, her gaze will shatter the sky. She's inevitable. She is the end..".
Him slaughtering the dragons costed him 1k years of his lifespan and made him the bedridden old walking corpse he is currently . Also Niki has been clear that BP mc if he still has the physique could be Prime Yichen level or higher

That’s why I said it’s a paradox, because he’s only slaughtered the dragons after prophecy of the end of the world, which if Sheng is connected to dragons would mean he did it himself, but Niki has changed story quite a bit since the short story was made so who knows.
Also where did he say BP MC can match up with prime Yichen? Everywhere I seen it’s been said Yichen wins against BP MC no matter what. And loses against CF MC. My proof. So where has he been clear? It’s been opposite.

Self inflicted prophecy is a common trope especially when it is likely not a real prophecy and this was 10 months before the Yichen side story “He exterminated the dragons? What a fool.” Tang Wei sighs, looks up to the sky, “A smart man, yet far too ignorant to make smart decisions. I suggest you get powerful and you do it soon. Or you will not survive what is soon to come.” so this plotline was already thought out by Niki way way before the Yichen side story

Nah Yichen side story was 2023, so it was after. I know that for a fact because my friend had just gotten into IFs and poma and became a Patreon and shared that with me and I stopped going in the discord in 2024 February. He just uploaded the Short stories together at that time. The short story was before, that’s why they asked TW the question. Oh yeah I see my fault, seems like it wasn’t a sure thing though. I’m going to assume it’s self inflicted. Which is funny.
Seems like I was right with, we won’t continue the main story right away and getting side content, I’m not complaining I like it getting fleshed out. Please don’t tell me we’ll have to replay it, I’ll cry so tired of replaying it for now.
