Probably he gang, but talking about shu did anyone managed to trigger the option to discover her sect? i thought it was related to the omniscient tower when doing mo long mission but i was wrong.
It's ridiculous that Nicky said something like that, when well before this event there were already 7k stat checks. For those who do not want to go to tumblr here is nicky response to the inconsistence between stats in gameplay vs in lore.

Senior, I have to ask. In the arena fights there are cases where MC can show off that his stats are above the max for a Peak Houtian and simply overpower his/her opponent. But it seems to not be the case for the main story, as even in the code the stats are not being checked to their full potential most of the time like the MC is holding back for no reason (only a 7k check to punch Ruo instead of a potential 10k or more). Why is that?
Nicky:
Story/gameplay mismatch. It's inevitable for that to happen since you could max out stats if you mismatch, but lore wise mc is not at that level yet. In all honesty, stats are meant to be more 'enough/not enough for this moment', not to reflect mc current strength.
This is something I'll have to design better in b2.

I'm guessing it has to do with waiting for Heavenly Judgement Sect and OS to arrive? I never tried or bothered to find out about that option tho so...

I wouldn't be surprised if he did either and it was choice dependant on if we told him about our maternal family. While he does spare Wu heir, it's not like we outright betrayed him (yet), just witheld information vs outright siding (or at least seeming to) with the rebels and lady butterfly.
However, it's dependent on whether Nikki wants to go the route that makes sense vs the easy way.
The easy way, without a doubt. Just look at the post made by @Benu earlier. Nicky preferred to come up with a lazy excuse rather than write a few more paragraphs that respect his own game.
Ruo is 100% going for the kill unless he finds any sign of Yang Gan still alive but being controlled by the rogues, even then i would not doubt of some mercy killing kinda of stuff happening.
What i want to know is when this tang bo vs yang gan battle is happening, another 3v3 round? in the 1v1's? or maybe in-between?
Waiting til book 2 to fix the inconsistent power scaling of the MC just shows that he doesn't really want to work on POMA anymore. Also means that none of the problems that haunt the story currently is going to be fixed.
If foundation is crooked house will too, unless addressed in book 1 changes in book 2 will be jarring at best, straight up story ruining at worst, at this point poma seems like a cash cow rather than a passion project.
