Expected. All branches will converge one way or another. I imagine Niki would have a very hard time when writing the sequel. If Niki wants to give value for choices, he wont do it until the end of book 1. Common route and branching route and all like VNs. FH kind of runs on common route with dead end branches which are picked up later on, Book 3 i havent read yet so i wonder how the author has handled the endings of book 2 there. ITFO has three branches but all are ending at the same place, back at the throne so its relatively easy to write considering Book 2 is the finale. The game i played with true branching is Breach 2. It is totally different if youre playing as an Archangel or a spy after a plot point. I havent played it for a long time, in fact idk if it is been constantly worked on but ive seen the author do alternative updates for the informant route and archangel route. I wonder what Niki will do for book 2.

Yes, I think almost the same, I'm just not sure if it's really a Cultivator, although I don't deny it. What really makes me skeptical is the He Gang bit. I mean, I don't see how it would work, not to say that it's illogical or silly, I just don't really understand it.

If He Gang is to be a puppet like Yuan Fang, then it must imply that Yuan Fang is in faction with LB. I don't think this is real tho. We barely know anything. It is possible it could be real, but I can't see any reason why someone would want He Gang as a puppet. Maybe if Yuan Fang dies, his puppet owner contacts MC and makes us a deal to replace Yuan Fang with He Gang.
