Ah... All this waiting for the update is leaving me with mixed feelings. On the one hand, I don't want the next long wait to come. On the other hand, I'm eager to see the result of these more than two months, especially when my traitor friend gave in to temptation, played the beta, and sent me this image saying that it's basically the MC throughout the new content:

I'll try not to spoil too much but the gist of it is

ruo questioned the sage about the first, sage gave some bullshit answer and manipulated fate in such a way that ruo accepted the answer even though he noticed that the sage did something to his mind. Wu heir can call the sage out on this after ruo left. Sage then gave the most vague answer possible because he knew he couldn't just bullshit wu heir into accepting his non answer. And whereas with ruo he only needed to subtly manipulate fate to change his mind, with wu heir he seems to actually temper with fate itself ie changing timelines. And even in this wu heir can still notice that he did something but was compelled by whatever powers he used to accept his answer
