and I got failed stat check like dafuq lmao
So I have a question when does lady butterfly teach the mc tri-dao? I accepted to become her disciple when she offers you the chance but I only got xiwen event where he gives a book that's it.So when do you get other events from them?
Edit: I got the event I guess there is a bug I accepted to become her disciple again the only two difference were i accepted her offer without choosing other option and later not choosing the option of "isn't it too extreme in regards to Tang Ruo,the mc still joins her side as a disciple even if you pick those two options but you don't get direct training from her so idk which of those two options causes that.

Not going to lie, might be unpopular, but I’m quite whelmed TBH. After the hype I seen in here, was kinda let down. Might be better in the future when he adds reactions and such, but this was Eh to me. I’m so disappointed honestly, you all had my expectations so high.
It's not gonna be AC level narrative in a single update obviously, but this update certainly meant fights actually reflect your stats instead of canon Wu Fraud.
Personally, I'm wondering when will more side content get added. The visit someone option only had cousin option while the festival event still marked with that greyed WIP option.
It's not just the visit and the festival that lacks content. There's the restaurant that's still unfinished. the gambling house barebones interaction. the lack of flavour texts and events for activities. too few missions especially after the expedition. the lack of interaction with the main cast of characters, with the sect and its members, with our own clan and with the world at large. Etc etc
Poma as it exist now consist of only the skeleton with very little muscles, organs and fats. There's still so much work that's need to be done and i really hope that niki takes a long break so that he'd have enough time to make plans to flesh out not just the main story but all the other side contents as well.

Pretty much the same here. Although for me, it was somewhere between good and cool. In my opinion, the update had three highlights: 1 - The chance to do the three Dao upgrades and get the Fist of Annihilation; 2 - Being able to defeat the annoying blind guy and the annoying emotional guy with the first blow; 3 - The MC finally acting like a good xianxia protagonist and seizing an unexpected opportunity, absorbing the Wisp.
Other than that, I also thought the MC vs. First was nice. The impression I got was that the MC alone did better against him than Dumb and Dumber together. For me, it just wasn't a highlight because there are too many "what ifs" in that confrontation.
As for the crits, they were good, but not as impactful as they could be, although it's definitely much better than before. The flow is flawed, but overall the MC with the right stats can definitely defeat the twins and Muchen as if they were children (Muchen is a pain because you need to "one-shot" him four times to win).

if you read my comment you can see I am not talking about that I already became her disciple by using that option.I am actually talking about after you accept it there seems to be a bug it's either if you don't accept to be her disciple immediately or if you say "isn't it too much" in regards to killing Ruo .I only changed this when I retried and the event happened .

Yup we need to see actual reactions and acknowledgement outside the fights I am like a broken clock at this point but really poma mc was always winning anyways now he is just winning even more spectacularly so imo this wasn't even needed as the real issue was always about the portrayal outside the fights so yeah if that doesn't change all of this is for naught because it will only make the narration feel dumber as mc was always winning and that alone should have meant about him getting his flowers now with what he can do if he doesn't get narration there was no point to this.
Btw, did you know? If you accept He Jun offer to work with He clan it no longer renames you into He. It does shift your honor alignment into 100% devious, but it also grant 2000 gold stipend and 50% discount on treasure shop.

It's just one update and it's certainly a step in the right direction. I think if Niki had written the post match along with the fight, it might have brought out an overall better reaction from us. It's just that it ends so abruptly that it kinda disappoints us.
I thought the 'first' fight was good. As @Arlonb said, we did better than Ruo and Tang Bo combined. Ruo came in clutch with his nepotism. The fact that he denies losing and says that he could take down the 'first' on his own looked like something he said out of pride. The way I see it, MC is stronger than Ruo in base atm.
The twins fight ends so suddenly compared to Chu Muchen. I loved the reaction of the Xiantain to our realm annihilating fist, he specifically looked wary and nervous. Maybe a bit scared too. They just crush their tokens and escape like npcs. I did not expect the suicide bomber to be Yuan Fang. I wonder what 'his revenge' is. It just seemed superficial to me.

Yes, about this scene: I confess that I also found it strange, especially when I saw what happens if you just accuse He Gang of breaking the rules, the zombie becomes hateful towards you for a moment. I'm starting to think that the piece of news I dismissed as “fanfic,” about the zombie being a possessed corpse and that in the future He Gang would also become a possessed puppet, might actually be true.
But why revenge tho? Niki is doing well writing Yuan Fang. He gives us hints but at the same time its difficult to pinpoint what it might lead to.

The rework includes changes to both the balance of the game and added new story content that acknowledges your stats much more. It even allows you to potentially end fights much sooner if you get critical hits.
There are two new paths: one adds Spell power with many new Dao moves, offering not just the original but also much more flexibility in using your Dao for fighting; the other allows you to go full body refiner and become a Dragon Ball Z character (or choose to be both, but I would suggest saving that for heavenly difficulty).
Here’s a full rework lowdown:
* Critical hits: A lot of critical hits for every attribute in practically every post-exposition fight. A high enough Constitution can now tank practically everything in the game, high agility can dodge, and high strength can one-shot enemies.
* Progression after the post-exposition now revolves around Body Refining and Qi Cultivation. More on this is explained in-game.
* All attributes, XP gain, health, pills, items, and so on have been reworked. Perks and other bloat have been removed.
* There are many other changes that you'll see in-game.

How does the new pill system work? My MC is too strong to use any of them now, or are you talking about the random roll pills?
Could you send me a save file with a Tri Dao MC so I can check out the realm annihilating fist?
