I mean, Blood king tried and might have succeeded. The fact that TW lived so long and nobody tried or maybe tried and failed should give us the answer. There's also the plot of making the MC an 'angel' when inside mom.

If a bum NS can figure out that TW had an ultra rare physique, then surely the more talented ones would have no trouble doing it? Or maybe TW got strong via seclusion fearing others might come after him again.

Will Niki really write a big branching like that? I doubt anything less than killing him or permenantly crippling his cultivation is satisfactory. And considering one of the routes is him dying and being puppetted, the variance is just too extreme. Does anyone know how its going for those who have killed Mei in one playthough and also romanced her in another? How different is the content? Is there any references or is Mei just forgotten after she dies?

Yep, she's just forgotten if killed. At least I can't remember her being even mentioned after this

One of my friend's fears is that Nicky might not write a route where we can kill He Gang. According to him, Nicky has been emphasizing that letting He Gang be possessed is much worse than anything the MC can do against him.

As much as it's just his interpretation, I don't doubt it much, it fits Nicky's "modus operandi" of avoiding real branching like the plague, and the same guy theorized a long time ago that Caihong's RO wouldn't work.

I wouldn't say he's wrong exactly, a dude stealing his body and doing things with it and directly being better then him at Martial Arts, not only that, but an actual nice person doing all those things, is a fate worse then death for him.




What this does however, is literally steal all the satisfaction you can get off of finishing him off for yourself or beating him in a fight after Nicky built up all that tension from it, lame as hell.
