Being soft to someone you like and loving someone so much that you reconsider your world views are not the same. Ig Ruo's allegiance is to the Empire and it cant be changed even if he is romanced by MC. It's a shame cuz i think it would be a good route for him despite being a cliche trope. I would even consider making fem ruo my main romance if there was a 'dark side to light side' kind of route with her.

Pretty much this. I don't expect any romance with Ruo that doesn't involve having the Wu heir be insanely submissive at best which is a darn shame. Would've been fun to play.

Anyone else annoyed at the stat check reductions coming back? I enjoyed playing on Heavenly but now there's a -40% on all checks, it's all so trivial as to be annoying.

It's a little better on Earth diff with -20% but damn the difficulty spike was insane lmao. I'm trying to duo cultivate but it's really tough without Mei in higher difficulties

Huh? Hasn't that been removed in the rework. Now all checks are the same throughout every difficulty it's just way easier to get higher stats in heavenly.

Used to be, but in the latest ver I played from back in december they're back.

I think trash is back to the old check increase as well but I haven't checked. Mortal should be fine though.

I found it particularly interesting that Yichen is only a "7-8" while Tigress is a solid "8". As for Ruo, it was to be expected, although I was a little surprised by the comment about MC.

It's not particularly surprising though, you get a lot of selections regarding talent and if you choose heavenly talent Wu Heir is probably a 10.
