I think he's showing how the world reacts to fem Ruo compared to male one. It seems Niki took the gender differences critic to mind. Fem Ruo will come across as girl boss to everyone misogynistic and otherwise whereas male Ruo will always be an arrogant *** lmao.
Yang Haoran really hates women. He is one of the people that BH mentioned as relative to Mei in Alchemy and described as "The first hates women with a passion stronger than most men's yearning for soft female flesh

Ruo/Haoran event will be the last one for this update. Others (like Chao's reaction to the tourney) will come in the next one, since this one is already getting a bit too big
A little strange in terms of priorities but more Ruo romance content is cool so eh, I don't really mind.
