Crazy to think that wu heir is already at the sect and the thunderfaller still is in the tryouts. Nicky is shitting on his own story by making they so weak, at one moment they move faster than light then they can't destroy a small city with 1 attack

Lol, they never came close to moving faster than light. Pretty sure Wu heir only started breaking the sound barrier after the rework.

I honestly don't think it's a problem at all. As long as Nicky has a firm grasp on how strong each stage is and he stays consistent about it, it's a good thing.

Yup no one is even close to that speed ,S are over sound barriers too and niki has said time after time that is where they cap only ones who would be past light speed will be folks outside the trash world and even for them only the gods having a shot.

And as long as niki stays consistent it shouldn't be an issue there is a reason poma story ends at NS as niki doesn't want to write actual powerful fights which is totally fine but it is one of the reasons I wished all Cultivators stuff never came to the story and the story would be only about WU heir rising to the peak of the world.

It would be much more interesting if the Wu heir was a martial artist with some rather minor powers. Just like they were at the beginning of the story.

Like a comparison I will make, think of Wu heir as early db Goku
He meets beerus and whis for no reason instead of bulma the first day lol.
Now you would expect damn one day I can atleast get close to that power if not surpass them
Instead imagine Toriyama ended the story before Raditz arrives lol
So you never learn kaioken,ssj and all it's form ,god ,blue and UI lmaoo
That's how it feels for poma ending at NS
You are left wondering why even do that to us lmaoo.

It's not to say the idea isn't unique it is but it fails to deliver when the player will never reach that "Powerful" level in the story
So if the storyline continued post NS and till godhood this would be a solid base but it ending at NS and you getting the pat on the back that your mc will reach godhood in record time feels hollow lol.

Niki didn't know mountains take significantly more energy to destroy so he corrected himself poma caps at hill level at best for someone like yichen even

For comparison I remember when folks were all like wu heir is higher than Thunderfaller even after the fight with Jack
Jack and thunderfaller destroy legit mountains a feat no S in poma can do
Wu heir or poma simply is too low level
Poma only is strong outside the trash world
For reference in AC top tiers who haven't Ascended can destroy a small country the size of Ireland in one hit
So yeah it is pretty clear that AC is way way higher level
Also another thing AC world is chi rich so the planet itself is way more durable according to anon , while poma world isn't like that lol.

Tbh I don't care about agenda I am fine with one being stronger than the other i just want WU heir to be recognised for what he does in his story.

Yeah I agree fully. I think that back when PoMA was a sandbox (10 billion years ago) Niki was less afraid of throwing around cool statements and feats for the MC and other characters. But now that he actually has to keep a coherent story going, he's toned everything down to make it more managable.

It takes a good writer to be able to introduce characters who can blow up continents and then make a reason as to why they just don't do that when something bothers them. And to be fair, he does have a LOT of reasons as to why, but because he is split between making a fun game and an interesting story, quality gets lost in the process.

Anon on the other hand, doesn't take his story too seriously, and I think has a lot more experience with coding and writing to boot, so his work comes out more coherent. Niki seems like a talented beginner who is writing his first serious project, and is just falling into classical pitfalls of such a path.

Not making the MC seem to powerful (even though it was initially a power fantasy) while making them powerful enough for the player feel satisfied is hard when there is an open ended leveling system which can be abused or optimized. He took a step in the right direction with the rework of the mechanics, but his writing needs to catch up now. Because currently it feels like he's scrambling to write something he did not expect that he will have to write, and thus all the delays with recognition and the reactivity outside of battles.

We'll see how it goes, but for now I'm hopeful cause of the rework. Maybe the update after this one will actually give the Wu heir some respect.

On a side note, I think he still has to rework some scenes outside of combat, because that scene even after the rework where you can have pseudo-xiantian stats (70+) and Ruo still beats your *** in the meditation chamber still bugs me.

I used it a lot lmaoo since last year I had versions of this with bleach and Naruto too for people who didn't watch db lmaoo

I just had to tell them that even then it isn't enough to display how much we aren't getting.

Yes, the MC will likely be able to cast some very powerful mass destruction spells even before reaching the CF. I mean, even now he can produce giant palms hundreds of feet wide, one of which was even large enough to eclipse the sun over the arena.
