Question: How can I get the triple Dow in the new update?
Meet with your father after the group stage. Spar with him while both having high enough stats and choosing the right strategies to progress the spar step by step ( not every choice during the spar will lead to progression but will end it early so save after each step so you can reach the end of the spar).

Once you have progressed far enough he will show you something new and from that your Dao seed will be enlightened, then choose the option to allow your Dao seed to win and you will unlock Tri-dao.

I just think its Niki leaving it open ended. If he wants he'll add more MAs with dao seed, if not its not a biggie anyway.

Sure it's possible there will be more, but Tang Wei's words can't be used to support that.

Also at this point aren't we pushing up on too many people with Dao seeds? It was supposed to be something super rare that was almost unthinkable for people in poma to develop.

Just like with cultivators, just expect nearly every new character introduced to have one.

This update really is just Daddy Issues galore lmao. I love the fact the Wu Heir and Wu Chao can so easily ragebait each other just by bringing the topic up

Damn, a double 150 check finally appears and it's only in the crashout route which leads to the MC getting humbled anyway. I mean it's very fair since it's Chao but damn I wish we had the opportunity to go full power more often.

Still a 10/10 update though. Gold for the clan, an obscuring Xiantian level mask, more lore and confirmations, and a Chao spar where he actually teaches you **** and where you can get either Tri-Dao or Dao Perfection is something I did not expect Niki to randomly drop. And he's rewriting the POVs as well.

Maybe the world is healing...

Just played the update and i've a theory

zhong zhi finding that mask and "accidentally" Eavesdropping on lady butterfly, finding out about the truth and then running away as far as she can from the rogue's might be something that zhong delun intentionally set up and planned for

we know from tang wei that zhong delun is if not evil then at least cares about his family. he knows the plan the rogue's has for his daughter, and knowing that he can't stop them he settles for the next best thing, and that is to get his daughter away from the rogue's and lb's hands. so he intentionally set up the whole scene of him and lb talking about their plans and for zhong zhi to eavesdrop on them. hoping that his daughter would run away.

and either through sheer chance or further planning by zhong delun, zhong zhi ended up falling in love with wu chao. the one clan/person that won't just outright kill zhong zhi for being a rogue nor hand her back over to the rogue.

I get why item tiers (As in stuff only xiantian's can use etc.) Exist but hasn't Tang Ruo been using the same level 1 sword since day 1? That thing is crazy, how is she allowed to use it?

Also Chao said the mask is useless in combat but he was completely helpless when Zhong Zi broke her hand trying to punch him. That wasn't exactly a combat situation but it's hard to imagine "Mask that literally no one on the planet can see through" is apparently only useful to peep on Ruo's aun- I mean espionage.

Also I like to believe grandfather spammed his fate altering ability just for a future his daughter could live and be happy. It'd be cool if he was genuinely evil though, just a family man.

At that time, pragmatism of today was considered evil especially in a society that had "honorable squables and fights"

The mask may be useless in combat but for infiltration and information gathering it's pretty OP.

Still won't save you if you're weak and get hit accidentally
I know that, but to say the mask can only be used to peep on others as the honorary honorary disciple of MG is completely wrong.

For one if you have to run away from a stronger opponent and you can break their line of sight for a split second it could save your life, plus considering every faction is keeping secrets from the MC, the mask can help the MC get answers that they wouldn't have been able to acquire normally.

Also I am holding thumbs the mask could become maybe in a later update become one of the dao items we can study during meditation to acquire the ability to hide our presence instead of having to outright wear the mask to hide ourselves.

Wait, is there anything like that in-game right now? I never see an item turn to anything other than unrefined Qi during meditation.

There aren't any items like that yet, but hopefully they get added later, but it's not like such objects won't be in the game since under the comprehend Dao option during meditation, it makes mention of using treasures to further comprehend Dao.

I'm hoping the mask becomes one of those items if you decide to keep it. Just like realm shattering fist you could first get a watered down version of the technique which hides your presence but it does not make you outright invisible and then from Qi sea you can make yourself invisible as well.

What’s the most interesting thing for me in this update is the revelation about Auras and how they work.

So we already knew that Auras are a kind of manifestation of a Xiantian’s Inner Energy which is shaped by the techniques they most use and also their inherent or learned talents (like LC’s regeneration) as well as their personality. And now it was stated that the GS recognizes an Aura as something close to Dao but still inferior to it.

So perhaps because Auras arise from how certain Arts, talents and Physiques have influenced a Xiantian up until they advance into that stage, it is kinda like an infant Dao because LB did state that every Daoist has their own personal understanding of their Dao and that even two cultivators with the same type of Dao (like Fire) will still be inherently different in the way they manifest it.

My theory is because first of all MAs use IE instead of Qi, and secondly because the process is kind of reversed in this case where they learn Arts, powers, and spells first and get an Aura as a manifestation of that + their personality, it comes out as an inferior version of an unleashed Dao.

Where normal cultivators would first get a Dao, contemplate on it to understand and then learn spells or Arts and later create them, MAs just learn the moves first and then this misshapen version of the Dao of which they are not aware of manifests.

So because it is so tainted by ignorance and lack of Qi, what is supposed to be their personal Dao comes out as something different.

I think Chao has this special “Aura of Perfection” and is the strongest Xiantian because his process is fundamentally different. Instead of his Aura being a manifestation of his techniques and powers, it is a manifestation of his inner drive towards perfection. And because it is by its nature, more contemplative and deep, it comes closer to what true Dao would be.

And so he uses his “Dao” of Perfection to seal and control the Arts he can use to an absurd degree where he can forcefully combine and squish them together with his Aura alone.

There’s also the MAs lack of meridians and a Dantian, and the fact that they probably power everything they do through their residual Divinity granted by TW’s blood (hence why higher blood purity = more IE and easier comprehension), but that’s a very long line of thinking.
