Damn, the thing Yichen give us are absurd, completely, utterly, disgustingly absurd. If you all were already thinking that Shengjue's manual was wild, compared to what Yichen gives it's pathetic.

Here's some of the stuff he gives. Yichen route is actually funny as hell.

Your Dao-EXP gained per turn is double, you receive three Dao Books you can read in the free-roam, each read gives ~300 Dao-EXP, and you can read it 10~11 times. You receive 10 pills(These Limit-Breaker pills) that you can use to up your cap in a round/variable value, in all combat stats(All).
The Earthly Fire apparently has 100 uses, each use gives us a flat 480~600 Unrefined Qi. And others, yes, there's way more things, such as the equipments.
Note: Remembering all this is in mortal, so heavenly for example is all this multiplied by 3.
I suggest you to edit your save-file(Just download one in the "protected save" during a free-roam), then edit it by putting as "Fang_roommate" as false(Yes, Yichen doesn't gives you anything if you're working with the Yue) and selecting your "war_side" as empire. If you want to see the DQ route too just edit your surname to "Pan", these events aren't exclusive of each other.

The game is probably going to end right once the war starts.
The Chao event is the option to go meet your father. The same place where you see Tang Ruo's mission.
