10k is enough to retire in the countryside at ripe age of 20-30, and is not a living poverty type of retirement, it is a get married have children good life retirement for 60 years
and seeing how jing guo was able to make ir in 2 years with having his most profitable source of income gone
(Alcohol represents 90% of his earnings, seeing how without alcohol you make 200 gold but with you make around 2k)
and having bandits extorting him and the purity squad most likely harassing him as well

Is anyone else having problems with the DES in the new update? They're somehow reducing my health stat to -80 so my character instantly dies regardless of what I do.
Like, not even my actual health. They reduce the total health to a negative number so even if I cheat in a life saving treasure or something I just instantly die.

Same thing happened to me, change your health to 10k to avoid a headache and you're good
I dropped to 2 hp after learning realm annihilating fist and another scene reduced it to 1 but I don't remember where
It seems everything after the free for all is screwed up. My health just dropped from 295 to -33 after Mei did the surgery thing.
The issue seems to be somewhere with the vitality stat reductions. Even a few points affect health disproportionately.
Anon updated AC or is this the update from like 5-9 months ago?

I mean, analyzing it this way even a optimized mortal will wipe the floor with Ruo in the final(Check-wise. Narratively, unfortunately, this will not happen). I wrote a ""essay"" about an optimized route for mortal and, playing as fair as possible(Basically not abusing of the treasure refining feature and the pills bug) you can reach 80~90 base stats and 120+ with the Transformations.
And after the new update this will be busted as ****, because:
1) Nicky increased the Dao-EXP multiplier significantly, so currently your Dao-level can be way higher(Mine is 17 in mortal with Tri-Dao, for example).
2) The count of stats increase for the Asura now is +2 for each breakout, so if you've, for example, 7 breakout the Partial Asura boost will be +14 in each stats. The full asura +28. Here you'd already be able to pass any check.

You're not getting anywhere near that range without developing carpal tunnel syndrome refining those Ironcloud Barrier robes. Unless there's some other exploit I have missed.
Especially on Mortal where you have to ration Qi like a starving child on Darfur.
