The whole tigress vs xiantian event, festival event, the freeroam money events (hunt a beast, try painting and participate in experimental pills), a way to actually call out He Mei bullshit in the long chen devil break event and much more.
Havoc sect quitting will probably stay the same though which is the disappointing part.

I have to admit I’m extremely disappointed with how things turned out. I was really looking forward to fights against opponents like Full Power Vampire, but now there’s even an excuse not to fight him even if he’s alive, since Havoc is leaving the tournament.
For things to have turned out this way after so much hype (just because MC, Ruo, and the others are on another level and to cut down on work), I would have much rather seen the final stage of the tournament be something like a King of the Hill—at least that way we’d see MC one-shotting top-10 level opponents left and right using his power, which is supposedly on another level.
Apparently Niki wants to rush the 1 v 1 fights and the first 2 1/1 opponents will be losers that will be easily defeated while the 3 fights after that (with Ruo obv being last) will be the real fights
I feel like that is what the free for all phase was supposed to be, but it felt more like an introductory chapter presenting us important characters and future opponents (Shadow Guy, Yue Fang, Mogui, old faces like Liu Yutai, etc). There was a lot of aura farming too against mook disciples but it seemed inconsequential rather than all the circumstance you'd expect of a martial arts tourney.
Tbh I don't know how to feel about this. I was like you very hyped for the Prime Disciple Tourney as well, both for a series of 1v1s with the most powerful students on the sect and the political fallout of that after the Prime Disciple choice was made, and I thought the sudden change in the rules and the introduction of new characters was building up to something even larger DURING the tourney... But I've come to accept niki will go with the path of least effort if he's given a choice of it. Like, nearly every time, so I'm completely numb to disappointment at this point. All I hope is he keeps things internally consistent and settles the mechanics once and for all, because I really don't know if I can take another rework changing the gameplay loop brother
And this book is like a million+ words already, so there is the problem of stretching it too much as well. Like, as disappointing as it is, getting straight to the point is still better than dragging this arc on with random bs you don't really know what to do with and goes nowhere. Sometimes less is better.

,you can deactivate ais relationship before you meet mei for her uncle stuff/ the shutting up of the girl that has dirt on her and reactivate it right after that and the relationship with her both should be good. The console code is "stats.ai_had_sex = false" or you can deactivate anything related to ais romance just to be sure. But change it back after that scene just to make sure you don't miss any content

It's asked often but it's fine as the way to get it is a bit specific.
First after the dream event with Dreamweaver, you have to go meet Xiwen and the Rogues for info.
Then when the option pops up you have to pick the one saying you don't care about the world. Lady Butterfly should offer to take you under her wing (heh) as an apprentice.
If it isn't clear from what I said you can just save as the Xiwen events start and try out the different options.
Do you need Ai route or romance for this happens?
No, you don't need any romance. The only requirement is go meet Xiwen after Dreamweaver appears and picking that specific dialogue option I mentioned. You will get the offer to be LB's apprentice, and if you accept it you can unlock tri-dao later after the tourney free for all phase.
