Path of martial arts: leaked sneak peaks, and discussing thread

I like POMA's story and setting a lot more, but Aura Clash is lowkey the GOAT IF in terms of mechanics and replayability, while replaying POMA is kinda boring gameplay wise
I share similar thoughts. PoMA's more serious settling entices me more(To this aspect). The whole construction around Wu Heir being a God's reincarnation is interesting too.
And my personal preference for more linear stories.
But yes, AC mechanics, reactivity and replayability are simply unmatched. No discussion.

Just hope Nicky doesn't really gets tired from PoMA.

Tbh and just being fair to POMA here, niki can't really compete with someone with a full on team around them on his own.

I feel like you could cut the playing time for this game by like 80% by just removing the weird grinding cycle (buying the same robe over and over, rerolling exp, all of the other rerolls). Whereas in AC you don't have the same padding, or at least it doesn't feel the same way.

I'm actually curious what about AC led you to believe it was a team effort. I don't see how multiple people coding can help when 95% of the game is just writing.
It's partly that someone said this on reddit and I took for granted, and partly that it blows every other CoG game out of the water with its mechanics so I figured it must have been true and they had more people to code, polish it, test it, etc.

Dangerous habit to use reddit as your bastion of truth. 😅 I stopped going there when that whole talk of "anti-gay code" started making rounds and everyone started eating it up with no reservations hahaha, you'd think there was kernel level **** going on behind the scenes.
that whole thing was way blown out of proportion. a few gender checks were peppered in as a lazy bug fix and everyone thought anon was personally going out of his way to block modders from adding in gay romance

At the end of the day it's just a result of jealousy and people repeating technical terms they don't understand. That's why misinformation is so dangerous and one of the things I despise most. Also the reason I couldn't keep silent when the cog drama happened 😅

Another interesting aspect of AC is the characters' power levels. Like, a year ago we were having discussions like, "Is Thunderfaller almost on Wu Heir's level?" whereas today we can ask questions—and not without basis—like, "Is Yichen on Jack's level?"

And better yet, this isn’t based on comments made by Anon on social media or promises of hidden power or potential—it’s all in the game.

I bet he left us to become an author and now has his freedom taken away by his evil publisher. Either that, or he really was Nicky all along and the publisher finally figured it out.
They locked him in his apartment and are forcing him gun to his head to write exclusively Mei events for the next 6 months after accidentally giving too much content to the other ROs
