I'm actually curious what about AC led you to believe it was a team effort. I don't see how multiple people coding can help when 95% of the game is just writing.

Actually since AC is so replayable and has so many features, it's straining the limits of what an IF/Twine game can be in that regard.

It has too many variables and functions already, so Anon has been using tricks like creating one variable for a lot of things related to a certain character which is a big number and just changes the number to account for changes in that character's/variable's states.

No experience in Twine besides modding AC myself, but it could definitely benefit from an experienced programmer and even more from a change in a more robust platform/language. Cause it's so big and varied in mechanics and reactivity. I definitely think that Book 2 and onwards should be done in another format cause the variables, reactivity, and mechanics will just keep stacking up as the story progresses.
