Hey guys I have a question. On the Yang Bohai route I seem to lose the option to get the Asura transformation. Is it because i get the makeover after taking the pills or is it something else I missed?
Im not sure since the last time i played this route was pre-rework but i seen some comments saying that the full Asura is temporarily not available for bohai route in v0.33, dq child is the only way for now i guess.

I'm kinda getting tired of always making up excuses for Nikki, but at least here it seems to be part of the transformation maybe? Inner Beast and primal fear of humans and all.

But in general yeah, this constant "The fear is overwhelming - you must kneel before this bum." stuff is getting very annoying. Like he describes the feeling of facing a Shangtian or Immortal as being less ****ing scary than fighting some dude who could maybe hurt you.

The stupidest thing is that after this you usually still get the normal options like you are not afraid at all. Idk why Nikki describes it like this when he always gives the option to disregard that like it never happened. At least add an Iron Will or Morality/Honor check before writing that. I can't imagine a bloodthirsty 100 demon/dishonorable MC reacting like this, even in their head. This goes double for Iron Will.

I think the problem here is that he writes the text almost without any flavor in general, from the POV of either himself or what he feels like the average MC would react. But it's not working at all. This reaction would only be valid for the miniscule amount of players who choose to play a coward and/or being weak.

Which seems contradictory to a story where you are the reincarnation of a badass Mad God.

By the way, here’s some info on changes that are likely coming—at least according to my treacherous friend:
-> Talents will undergo changes, both buffs and nerfs. For example, Paragon and Beauty will now add +x% rather than fixed values; the Meridian talent, on the other hand, will be nerfed in some way; it’s possible that the Phoenix talent will also start boosting stats with each death.
-> It’s possible that the refinement cap will no longer be just 100 even without a manual, though I don’t think that matters much for us poor souls playing on Mortal.

On a side note, apparently the EXs, which were previously said to have stats in the 120-150 range, are now 150-200. As such, Nicky is currently working with stat checks of no more than 150 for this book (knowing his pattern, this means absolutely nothing, but I thought it was interesting to share).

Do you guys think having Yang Gan to mentally stabilize Ruo and have him be a better person that's not all about the empire would make betraying him cause less or more damage to him? Asking for a friend who really wants to pull a "I've always wanted to do this." as he consumes the sheer drama
Less I'd say. Maybe depends on which role YG will follow too since he seemed committed to help Ruo. Meanwhile by not "healing" YG you're forcing Ruo to kill(Since I imagine they'll fight in the semifinal) her older and closer(Only too) friend right after finding it wasn't reciprocal at all, with YG supposedly exploring her weaknesses.
Then you double down and attack that exactly spot again, exploring Ruo's mental weaknesses while she had the actual information previously about Wu Heir's ties with the Rogues.
That's my plan, by the way. I even play with female Ruo so I can create some romantic tension with that pathetic abomination before brutally crushing it.

Goodness, I'd be delighted. Imagine that ***** actually cries when we verbally humiliate her while fighting to kill, bombarding that lizard *** with three consecutive RAFs... better stop for now.
