.Yue yan to me tho clearly feels like is using sovergien's influence to grow stronger visit different Worlds and then breaks the deadlock in Yue clan so her father wins.Since outside influence is the sure way to break the deadlock in the fastest way since she would have allies in the court and also other jade sentinels everyone who will be powerful so to me it feels like calculated thing it's good for her growth too personal power wise and also for getting allies.
