Well, don't know if it was already said here, but the changes that are likely to happen:
Nerfs:
•Pristine Meridians will be nerfed. Instead of just negating the impurity level it'll now have 50% of doing so and 50% of failing.
•The Qi expenditure reduction by Dao-Levels will also be nerfed, reduced to -2 per level instead of -4.
•(Not certain about this one), apparently the EXP cost for increasing a stat stopping at 3.125 after reaching 50 in one stat is actually unintended, as Body Refining is supposed to be way harder than standard Cultivation, Niki will make it more "lore centered" by applying the geometric progression with root 5. So, I'm theory, 15.625 at 60 stats, 78.125 at 70... subsequently.
Buffs:
•Captivating Beauty CHA increase will now be based on percentage, increasing 30% of the current CHA stat.
•Righteous Paragon/Demon Overlord stat increase will also be based on percentage, increasing all the player current "true" stats by 15%(Quite good).
•Phoenix Heart will temporarily increase all stats by 5 after a rebirth.
•Martial Sovereign reduction will change to be the primary cost reduction instead of the last, as I explained here before how the spells cost reduction work. Also, although not certain, there are some talks about the reduction changing to 50%(Is that the GOAT returning???).
Also, as the Body Refining system is supposed to get harder after the update we'll no longer have the 100 range checks in the Ruo/Haoran Event, being it supposed to deflate. Don't know by how much, though. I'd assume to 90.
This better come with quality of life changes for taking pills too. I've been wanting to ask Nicky for them but for some reason my comments on the itchio page can't go through moderator approval.
I was hoping for this to be permanent... It would've made interesting playthroughs, and I like the image of reviving stronger lol.
I'd hope Ruo doesn't have a base of 100 in everything by that point, yeah. Then again, I don't know how to feel about that pill addict anymore.
This nerf gets completed mogged by the savescumming dao.
About it, I forgot to mention that, as Body Refining will be inhuman hard if the EXP change really occurs, there's a chance of PER/CHA pills appear in the pavillion. Nothing remotely close to be certain(As the EXP change per se isn't sure to happen), but still, when it comes to Niki psychopath mind we need to hold the chance even if it is a measly 1%.
Good luck doing it pill per pill. Imagine doing it past 100 stats when you need, say, 30 pills to increase 1 stat
. At that point Niki could add a achievement for us min-maxers giving a free Iron Will by buying and refining 10,000 artefacts/chugging 10,000 one by one.
If these exist I won't be able to make jokes about the entire verse dumping charisma though

Unless Niki plans something like, 150 PER check to comprehend 0,000000000...(infinitesimally close to 0)% of TW's special albums. Already enough to increase the cap of all stats to 1.000 and 10x EXP modifier.
Zenith Manual is Shengjue manual you can obtain in his event right after the 3v3.
Demon Queen Devil Eating manual is a bit more specific, you need to be in a Pan Route(Killed Mo Long) and refuse Bohai's deal so your clan get destroyed. Then you gain this Pseud-Nirvana manual from her after the 3v3.
Yichen deal as the name says, you need to side with the Empire and not be a Yue Fang roommate as it makes the senile **** cautious.
And TW's special albums are basically his own manuals that LB will give us in the next uptade.
There's also Yue Yan void grade manual. Eventually Yue bros will receive it, one day, they just need to have hope.
So, basically, three out of five huge buffs are faction locked while two you can have as a neutral although with sacrifices, be it your clan(DQ's) or your RP/Dignity(Shengjue's).

This one, about EXP, is just stupid in my opinion. 15,000 EXP for a single stat point is basically the same as saying "it's impossible." I mean, at this point, even if you put all your qi into EXP, I don't think you'd even reach 40,000–50,000. I could be wrong, but not by too much.

That's why I said isn't certain, because besides the fact of being utterly impossible it seems that Niki was subjective(Something like he'd just "fix a problem" rather than specifically saying adding the GP of 5 or even citing EXP, he even showed the code of the cap increase rather than EXP, which leads me to think that it's more probable to not have an alteration than the opposite).
At end, in my view, it's doubtful that Niki will apply a constant GP of 5. If he even change something I'd visualise a more orthodox change like applying a new GP of 5 past 100 as more acceptable.
Some people can even bring the point that Body Refining is way more expensive than standard Cultivation, but the current system already express it completely well.
Basically, the numbers for a perfect foundation were already leaked;
To reach Golden Ocean(Perfect Cultivation foundation) you need a Dantian with 3.600 refined Qi.
To achieve II-star prismatic/Nirvana grade foundation you need one stat at Prismatic range, that's, 150+.
I'll show you the difference: To reach 3.600 of Dantian Size you just need to gather and refine 14.400 Unrefined Qi, a simple enough process. You don't think so?
To increase one single ****ing stat to 150 you need to increase the stat cap 100 times, which already translates to 25.250 Unrefined Qi. Then come the process of actually increasing the stat with EXP.
Assuming you're in heavenly where the ratio is 1 Unrefined Qi for 60 EXP, and keeping the current 3.125 EXP per stat increase, you need roughly 52 Unrefined Qi for each stat increase, which is 520 Unrefined Qi for each 10 and 5.200 Unrefined Qi added to the 25.250 that's, in the end, 30.450 Unrefined Qi to increase a single stat to 150.
(If we consider the constant GP of 5 the value goes to ~250.000.000 Unrefined Qi, so yes, not happening).
I would rather die than cultivate anything other the most perfect Divine-IX Qi Cultivation and Body Refining manuals. All this just to get some shitty void grade manual. I just KNOW that stingy son of a ***** TW created some crazy broken Divine-IX Qi Cultivation and Body Refining manuals that completely mog every other manual that no one can comprehend, Our Dao Seed or LB will probably give them to us soon.
I kind of want to spite Tang Wei and ruin my foundation, but I also like the idea of having no weaknesses someone can exploit and just having everything.
I'd also like an ingame tutorial for this stuff because I don't understand what, for example, advancing early would do for us exactly. Or how it works for body refiners etc... Like I'm a dual cultivator, what am I supposed to do? Focus on my dantian and body equally or focus on one
We all saw how many resources Ruo has in addition to her physique and dragon transformation and bloodline yet current wu heir completely mogs her. Does this prove that Ruo is a pill popping talentless bumass fraud or is wu heir literally the goat? She probably had better resources than what we got from yichen and that too every week for 20 F*cking years along with a 3 year advantage because of our coma. Even ruo becoming an EX might not be enough to beat peak qi refining wu heir considering our ungodly growth rate. No wonder Yue Yan can fight 2 stages above her own, imagine the resources she has access to.
I think it's mostly because she dosent know about Dao though right? She only menaged so far to partly make Dao into her bs sword technique that cuts through everything and even that I think it's only because she's heaven's nepo baby. Once she fully understands Dao I expect a power-up higher than God ki in dragon ball super
Speaking of dao and power ups. We'll get a special item once our seed evolves, right? I wonder if we'll get whatever Tang Wei originally got or something else.
Dao Relics once our Dao Seed evolves to Dao Sapling, yes. I wonder what is Yichen's.
And if we receive one Relic per Dao, as we have effectively three, or if is only one Relic encompassing all our abilities from our Dao Seed, as we have one Dao Seed operating three Daos.
As Dao Sapling must be something big I don't imagine we are gaining our Dao Relics in the book 1. Who knows too, as Wu Heir is completely abnormal to any imaginable parameter.
Imagine you're Ruo and need to face this:
If the body Dao Relic isn't some necklace or something and forces us to use a weapon instead of hands I'm retiring. You can't tell me the strongest version of body Dao Wu heir can't do this
Love the idea of having several relics we can use if you have tri-dao unlocked.
