Path of martial arts: leaked sneak peaks, and discussing thread

Wasn't it something she injected?
Yes, actually. I confused it because when meeting him after he says that Mei send him a earring to force him to meet her under the pretext of giving the other.
He's the first one to suggest LC gives up rather than rushing and dealing the finishing blow, so even if Ruo didn't straight up forfeit, it's hard to imagine him agreeing to it. With his technique no less.
Yet he asks if LC at his state could survive to one of his attacks. I visualise as the narrative portraying that, although it wasn't the primary result Xiwen wanted, he indeed was willing to kill LC here.
And this willingness would probably change once LC admitted his plan to something more pragmatic since Xiwen would understand that there's no other method.

Of course all that is just speculation, after all nothing of this happened in the book leading to a understanding that it couldn't.
Is Wu heir in a better position after tanking LC's explosion? I don't know, I was under the impression only Xiwen is in fighting state. Though Ruo heals quite fast
Most likely. If anything depends if Wu Heir defeated LC with the GS or with the 99,999 failures, since with the latter Wu Heir seems to still in great form, meanwhile with the former we are in the epicenter of LC's mantra so it leaves some ponder.
I'd say that in any scenario Wu Heir is in better form because Ruo is said to "barely be able to stay awake" or something(Quite delusional of Ruo saying that Xiwen couldn't finish LC without her help).

But by fight I mean a later one, for the love of the game. A mid-book fight between Ruo and Wu Heir would be interesting, specially in the exposition.
Both start equals, Wu Heir uses the GS to gain advantage, Ruo transforms and physically overwhelm us with we winning in the end through outlasting or maybe with a Devil Breakout.

I wonder how things would be if the entirety of book 1 was just the danger zone. Shame we have chronic passing out syndrome.

Ruo transformed is closer to LC than he is to Wu heir right? Since we couldn't join their fight without the pill that accelerates thought speed, I don't see us outlasting him.

Though I do admit a devil breakout would make things VERY interesting.

It's 1 minute, well, if we consider Story Mode talents as the baseline and that Martial Sovereign negates the fatigue from using GS maybe Wu Heir could. Spamming the hell out of Celestial Shells and teleports. 1000021273.jpg

Yes, as the Devil was already foreshadowed against Jia Tianguang. Although I visualise we gaining only the "basic bonuses" of a average breakout, as the massive Physical Prowess increase and Regenerative capacity, rather than a Sukuna 2.0 coming out and running a gauntlet.

Yeah. Like I said before, it’s just a dumb scene. The whole thing is just meant to glorify LC—a character who has no relevance for the rest of the book—and give Ruo a “moment of maturity,” but neither of those things works. It just ends up feeling like an anticlimactic ending that doesn’t affect a damn thing and makes the “winners” of the battle look like idiots who can’t even be bothered to think for a second. I believe it would have been much better if, at the end, there had at least been some reflection from the MC, showing some development and a hard-learned lesson—something like “winning a battle doesn’t always guarantee victory” or something along those lines.

I mean if to be fair, in general POMA would be a million times better in my opinion if wu heir had any sort of character development that would actually stay prominent throughout the book (aka just not be a blank sheet of paper). The most character development I think we got is when we're asking ourselves why we want to join the sect at the beginning of the game (never comes up again), and when we wake up from the coma and wonder about what TW told us (never comes up again also).

I mean obviously I don't think Nicky really wants to make POMA with characters of the same depth as fallen hero for example, but story wise some of the plot points could make a million times more sense if wu heir had even the most minor of character development or pre-established beliefs and arrogance that he could grow out of as the story progresses.

A majority of this can be solved if your internal thoughts and actions were consistent with your morality and the personality you established through previous choices. My Wu Heir is an Egomaniacal Psychopath right up there with Judge Holden and Eric Cartman, basically Cultivation Satan, I wish that every choice has a slight variation depending on this established personality, for example: Not feeling or even vehemently crushing feelings of fear for extremely arrogant wu heirs, thinking of ulterior motives when doing a good deed for evil wu heirs etc. I wish we got to play a genius wu heir that can outsmart people or overcome situations through natural intelligence, something like no game no life, usogui, or death note. Man I desperately want to feel what I felt during 3 Kings Inheritance with FY refining FIT Gu.

Who wins between Current Wu Heir and Current Yang Gan?
Gan probably statmogs even more so if he still has access to Incomplete Asura

BUT the Wu Heir's forte has always been hax and Current Gan probably can't use his Buddha arts anymore. We take it mid to high diff
Fair enough. One Thing we can both agree on though is Long Chen gets his assh*le ripped open and washed by both wu heir and yang gan. Like how bro? This guy couldn't handle a weak peak Houtian and two middle houtians while we can battle 5 peak houtians with perfect teamwork with artefacts and skill designed specifically to counter us at the same time. We can also battle 3 top 10 peak houtians in addition to a wisp and Ruo and wash all of them to the point of humiliation. Yang Gan can genuinely put belt to a*s on the publically recognized top 2 of houtians (Tang Ruo and Tang Bo). How is bumass fraudass Short Cuck supposed to even come close to rivalling us? That girl that Yang Gan erased from reality by punching her into blood mist was probably stronger than LC. You just know we absolutely wash EX LC.
I mean we gotta be fair Xiwen is the top 1 of ascension and both him and Ruo were juiced up to the gills on artifacts which are way more broken than even the blings that Yichen gave to Imperial Wu Heir.

Which makes his beef with the Spear Twins lowkey odd

Besides, current Yang Gan is a vegetable 🤣

Also Xiwen is a big disappointment considering his connection to our grandfather. I wonder if he'll be sidelined or expanded at all. Then again I don't really are about him so can't complain much.
