The fight was actual comedy, Niki throws in some people you can just wash here and there, I punched someone out of their transformation and had to stop myself from throwing the first punch against multiple opponents lest I one shot them
And despite doing this twelve times in the arena with most of those wins being against peak houtians people seem to have no idea about it, you just gotta love life
Atleast now we're in a point in the story where it's impossible for people to still look down on us, honestly after the free for all it should've been impossible for people to look on us--especially when you solo the entire thing--but here we are

Man, the fight against Bai Hu got me so excited for a moment there that I forgot that the only other content part of this update is for Mei degenerates.

Also, classic Niki - give a tasty little morsel fight (the Space lock finisher with the taunt was pure Aura Farming idc), acknowledge Wu Heir's strength (if you perfect your foundation and Body Refining), instantly glaze Ruo, dump some lore, offer seemingly OP buffs, instantly make them tied to completely giving your agency away, if you don't accept give you nothing, Update Complete.

Also idk if it would still work this way since the stat system was reworked again, but since we got 120-150 checks - is it fair to say that maxed out Wu Heir in base is now at least as strong if not stronger than YG?

I absolutely refuse to believe that this man has stats higher than 150, since that would be just ridicolous because even LB acknowledges that we've basically perfected our Cultivation and Body Refining. Although to be fair, the check for whether you are doing well in Body Refining is rather low, 300 or more across all stats, so if you have everything at 60 and one stat at 61 you would still pass that check. And the Qi Perfection thing is bugged, if you try to refill your Dantian after reaching Qi Perfection (next stage after Great Circle), it bugs out and freezes, as well as not showing anything in the stat page next to your Qi Level. Although maybe the first thing is just an old save thing.

Also, what the **** are they feeding Ruo if with Qi Perfection and high Body Refining both you would still lose as per LB? Probably it's just a lie so that you accept her offer, but bro...

When are we going to get a chance to improve without critical consequences to ourselves?

LB said Ruo would win cause plot armour, I genuinely forget who the mc is sometimes cause what??

Nah, but fr. I understand why she would say that, and furthermore why Niki would say that, but it feels like an incredibly cheap way to explain how he keeps up with the Wu Heir even if we have EX level stats.

Because apparently Tang Ruo, who got mogged by one palm strike from YG just what - a week or two before, will somehow advance to be more powerful than him in just a few weeks because of Heaven granted luck?

In my opinion, it would've been way better to state that it's his dragon stuff that gives him that ability, since it's not one but hundreds of dragon souls locked inside him. Like invent some bullshit about how Yichen has been unlocking Ruo's dragon power more quickly and radically since he saw the Wu Heir's progression and **** his pants (like the POV states). But no - it's apparently all luck granted by the Heavens.

Also I don't understand one thing from LB's speech that's unrelated to Ruo. She explained that to max out Soul Cultivation, you have to disperse your Dantian and Body and become a pure thought-form kind of being, but then states that the Celestial Sovereign has maxed out all three paths (Dao, Body, and Soul) - how is that possible? Is that a God specific thing where everything returns when you ascend or what? Why can't we practice Soul Cultivation besides strengthening it through LB's training and arrays? It seems like Iron Will Wu Heir would be goated at it since with it you can already completely resist both LB's and Sheng Jue's attacks, even at a detriment to yourself.

Besides Yichen, no one has given us anything by this point besides promises and assurances, but I will admit that it makes sense narratively. The overwhelmingly more likely to win sides give you emotional support and promise future rewards, while the guy who in all likelihood will lose actually gives you something substantial, even if that stuff is still locked behind giving him a /console kill Wu Heir command for free.

LB says Yichen and Ruo have trump cards given by TW. That it wouldnt matter if MC was stronger than Ruo because the heavens would say sike and project his plot armour onto us. My understanding is we have -100 luck and Ruo has +100 luck. Even if we roll 20 on a d20 and Ruo rolls a 1, Ruo has a +20 modifier which would save his *** and outperform us. Thats why LB gives us those two 'alleged' trump cards. I mean we can question about our inheritance but LB dodges the question by giving a cagey answer. I dont trust her to have MC's best interest as an individual. She has MC's best interest in mind when it comes to cultivation but not if it conflicts with hers. Still, i really wanna meet Mom's side of the family. It just seems to me a lot of them are just normal people brainwashed by LB.

Why do i feel that LB soulmolesting MC has nothing to do with refining out soul. I mean it probably has something to do with it but there's definitely ulterior motives. Still, MC's weak soul is why they were so vulnerable to six desires. Man's a soul cultivator from the looks of it and we have no chance beating him. Funny thing is Ruo's soul is even weaker lmao.

I'd argue it doesn't. LB is obviously capable of handing out power ups, I don't see why she doesn't invest in us more.

I guess you could argue she wanted us desperate for the soul planting, but honestly not sure why she holds back after that's done. I might forgive Nicky if I can break every bone in Ruo's body and feed him to my leviathan though.

I think it makes sense narratively since at least the Yue clan and Sheng Jue seem utterly certain that when everything goes down, this Lower Realm has no hope at all to win - therefore they only promise and delay.

LB on the other hand is in the middle - also pretty sure about her victory, but is worried about other Immortals/Gods, and Tang Wei’s trump cards, and so is scrambling towards getting there first to lock out the others for a few moments so she can get what she wants.

I’m 99% sure that this all has to do with the Ancestral Blood Droplet, and that she somehow wants to either bring TW back, create a fascimile of him for her own twisted ends, or she’s just so insane that she inherited TW’s desire to ressurect his loved one, a.k.a Tang Wei himself and is not thinking about whether it will work or not.

Perhaps because we have TW’s soul, she thinks that with the blood droplet, along with everyone on the planet who shares TW’s blood, she thinks she can resurrect TW in our (his) body and soul. That’s why she refuses to give us the spells yet hesitates for a moment in the end - because if she gives us the spells without mindraping us, we will be able to thwart/escape her plan.

It makes sense for Yichen to be the only one to give us stuff right away - because he really is desperate and needs us on his side and to be strong if he wants to have a bigger chance of winning.

Yeah that’s why I said Iron Will Wu Heir specifically. With Iron Will, since Soul = Mind, we have a naturally strong soul and can brush off the vast majority of mental/soul attacks and effects, even if it is admittedly through tanking them and suffering the consequences.

This actually got me thinking - Yichen’s majesty effect has to be a Soul thing then right? Because we can shrug it off easily with Iron Will, and it even states that he’s not using any Art or even his IE Aura - it’s just his presence (Strong Soul).

But on LB, like I wrote in the previous reply - I believe that she gives us only the things she believes will not be an obstacle to her TW ressurrection plan. So she only gives us Soul training and OP spells if we allow her to already ease her plan by putting herself in our soul, and therefore making her eventual planned TW res. even better via directly controlling/influencing him.

But seriously, those stat checks are absurd. 125 STR? Even if it’s a critical hit, it can’t even kill the guy, and he still gets back up on his own two feet afterward. Ruo took a <100 punch and went down literally just a week or two before this. A 125-STR punch would have wiped out First, Tang Bo, and Ruo in that fight, based on what we saw.

See that would be too obvious and given that one of the more popular theories of LB f*cking over tang wei is correct now I doubt it will be bringing him back since that wouldn't change anything she knows he will not love her that is why she schemed I am more inclined to believe she is trying to make make mc as close as to tw while having a fixation on her.

That said I wouldn't be surprised if niki somehow does make it dependent on how lb feels about mc since there are a decent amount of options that make her happy or annoyed even one where you call yourself a better variant so either she sides with mc or not since I believe the trying to take over mc will happen and I believe regardless of LB's involvement.

All in all it is hard to say but getting TW back gives her nothing infact she is worse off with him back since his goal remains the same getting his wife back and we know how much she hates that and how she admitted to f#cking over tang wei in this update.
