Path of martial arts: leaked sneak peaks, and discussing thread

Apparently, even that isn't enough. My friend recently told me that there's another reason why Ruo can't attain godhood: Dao Children understand the Dao in the "wrong" way.

The explanation he gave me is confusing, but from what I understood, Dao Children don’t really understand their Dao on their own; they are completely guided by the Heavens. Therefore, when they reach Immortal, their Dao is identical to that of the Heavens, and to become a god, the individual needs to become their own Dao or something like that—and one cannot become the Heavens.

Note: This second part is an interpretation of someone else’s explanation of Nicky’s confusing and vague explanation; only the first part is a straightforward statement.
Idk if Niki is planning to give endings to major characters and ROs based on MC's choices. Its a big part of any interactive medium. Although i would like a game about Wu Heir outside poma, I would be pretty satisfied if Niki just insinuates or even give a farther into the future epilogue.

Like if you befriend Ruo, we can convince him to think for himself. No need to 'turn' him against his grandfather, but more that make him understand why he exists. Make him understand that nobody truly loves him (except MC if they romance Ruo lmao) Give Ruo the tools to change his outlook. I know Niki said Ruo is stauch Imperialist but it would be so disappointing if he doesnt utilize the chance to explore his character more. I liked the Yang Gan event just for the fact that we can make Ruo doubt things he knows and have grown up with by gently coaxing him to it. His pride wont allow him to listen to you if youre brutally honest to him so you must literally walk on eggshells to let him rewire his brain. He doesnt need to become a paragon or anything, just more reasonable and open to everything around him instead of blindly believing everything Yichen tells him.

There's also the RO's. I have no clue what plan Niki has for Tigress. Atleast with Ai there's a skeleton storyline. Yue Yan? we met the ***** once on skype. Mei i have no clue since i havent once done a Mei route, I even went a bit far with the evil route mind you lol.

Its always necessary to envision what you want to do with characters and how they fit into the story. How the MC can influence and be influenced by them. When i look at poma, i can only count a few characters this can be applied for. Everyone else just seem random.

The way I see it is there's a high chance Ruo might actually starts to develop their own autonomy and opinions either in the end of this book or during the second one which will eventually lead to him losing his physique and pave the path for him to finally be the ruler Yichen wanted him to be while also giving him a great excuse to restart at the beginning but as a proper sword cultivator (before you ask no, I am not a Ruo glazer but even I have to admit it'll be sick character development and a great way for Ruo to still be relevant in the future).
Nicky will have to write a Ruo spin off because even with dragon body and dao child physique, Ruo is getting left behind on the dust, without both of them, Ruo is certainly going to fall far far behind the mc removing her from rival status. On the topic of character development, Ruo is too rigid in her views, unless she encounters a huge shock like yichen betraying her at the last second, It will difficult for her to change.

Why tf would Yichen betray Ruo? Anyway, the seeds for potential character development for Ruo are already planted, assuming she knows you're a rogue and hasn't told Yichen and you convinced her to help YG

We see in the yichen side story that yichen doesn't love Ruo at all, he just needs her to become strong enough to oppose LB. Yichen could abandon her to her fate if she becomes too much of a liability (tho I honestly have no idea what plans yichen even has regarding ruo). Why would Yichen even need her since she can't become strong enough to beat LB in time? Ruo is getting character development but there just isn't enough time or maybe there is who knows?

Yichen is Ruo's biggest glazer my dude. There's been zero doubt for him that Ruo is his only chance to save his empire. He's not even disappointed in the fact dude is still Late Houtian.

For Yichen to give up on Ruo he'd need to give up on the sword and become a farmer or something. The idea of him seeing Ruo as a liability? Laughable.

Yeah in the current build once you get above 200 your stats just show an infinity symbol
Can anyone even reach 200 stats? Without infusions and the beserker pill and asura

I dont even think heavenly players are able to do it

Also what would the most mortal/trash powerful stats mc can be.
Brother, I still need like 2400 Qi strands before I reach perfection. Tang Wei will take a **** inside my soul if I don't get there by the time I build my foundation. Xiantians can wait.

Hundred infusion? I hope your qi reserves keep up otherwise...
...has anyone reached qi perfection on mortal?

If i spent all my money purely on qi i would only be halfway there.

Knowing the heavens, ruo would be planting dao trees and making a dao forest instead, literally cant lose.

Don't think you can even if you resort to drastic measures like refining everything including mother's mask. (Which, honestly, should give more Qi imo, honestly buff Chao's revival robe qi amount too and let us refine/unequip the life saving talisman)

Also just putting this out there, Yichen was the one who got Ruo his concubines. If he didn't care he wouldn't try to get Ruo to socialize, I'm pretty sure Ruo is loved by his family in general

I play the game modded to all hell so this only happened the one time and to make things worse it was a random arena fight

Yeah I know just that there is no love. I still don't know how a late Houtian is gonna be relevant in the war.

Back in the days where people were theorising about Yichen wanting to take over Ruo's body.

Maybe, although Jia still called him an abomination of a child when confronting Yichen about his plans to sacrifice Ruo's parents.

Blood king: "Been there, done that."

It's true though, they all know Ruo is a freak. I'm sure he also knows.

It's funny seeing how socially inept Ruo is, to the point even Yichen wishes he taught his grandchild social skills
I want--no I need this to bite both of them in the butt during this war, people tolerate your imperious personality when you're the top dog but not only is civil war coming the rogues both have the better part of the great nine and heavenly sects and the Tang have never been weaker

"Loved by his family" Yeah I am not sure if your loving family members would ever call you abomination. Socializing is a skill that Ruo needs to lead. Yichen just needs her, he doesn't love her.Screenshot_2026-06-15-02-29-23-34_e5d3893ac03954c6bb675ef2555b879b.jpg

Yichen doing all this to take over Ruo's body would be a hell of a twist and I honestly could see ways to do that but same time I somehow don't see Yichen surviving book one, he and Wu Chao gonna go the way of the dodo

We gonna ignore every other scene of Ruo's family hanging out with him? Take Ruo's POV where he chats with Jia. Tell me you see hatred there. What about his uncle? What about every other scene of Yichen talking about him?

The truth is Ruo is an abomination. Yichen stuck thousands of dragons into him to speed up his growth and make him practically invincible. There's no word more accurate to describe him, they know what they did.
