I have a feeling that whatever happens during Tigress's plotline will grant MC and her a position in the 1v1s. They will probably do **** which will be considered impossible for Houtains and thus the elders will excuse their absence and allow them to compete due to their achievements. We'll get rewards to balance out other routes and jump right to 1v1s. I cant see Niki abandoning the tourney for Tigress route since i believe its later stages are going to be canon plotwise and will set up the next arc. Maybe we will find an actual inheritance of TW during her quest? like LC and Mei did.
