Atleast they won after a process of 7 years. Here's Utd with 7 different processes and the 8th ongoing and we arent close to win the prem. I don't see this as a problem. It's not like we're racing through the story anyway. To be honest, it's been over half a year since the end of 3v3, and the story hasn't progressed much at all.

I've seen the same hopium and copium happen during Mourinho's season after we won Europa, after we signed Ronaldo under Ole. I'm not falling for it anymore. Besides i dont think we really have a league winning squad. If Bruno isnt playing we're ****ed 9/10 times.

Yeah but its only going to delay the story more. It would have been satisfying if Niki had finished all RO and side character businesses before the tourney but he didnt. Still, I liked the last update. I enjoy updates which contribute to the story in some way. Im not a fan of another Mei update or even Tigress one lol. Still I'm kind of glad poma isnt like AC. Since we get kinda monthly updates, the forum is active and we actually discuss ****. AC goes silent after a month or two after the update and imo i find talking about poma more entertaining.

Anyway, I also like the old Wu Heir, don't get me wrong, I like more grounded things and even old Wu Heir wasn't that grounded.
One week after the coma and was already able to fight two LHs to a standstill. Two months after the coma and he was in Peak-Houtian level, able to fight two PHs at once(Overpower three if you had Body Dao). Six months after the coma he was already in the pinnacle of the Houtian Realm, as Niki himself confirmed that Yutai would be decimated by DES in a direct fight.
Also old Wu heir: Can't withstand one trash sword skill from the lowest ranked PH he's allowed to fight.
Meirong? Which skill exactly? Pretty sure you could blow up the Golden Sword(Her strongest skill) if you passed the STR check.

Actually the only fight I remember as truly embarrassing regardless of your checks is Ji Jinwen(Dancing schizophrenic) if you didn't stopped her before she gained the crowd support or something.

Meirong's fodder illusion swords were impossible to fully resist. They would bite into the Wu heir and deal considerable damage no matter what you did. The only realistic way of dealing with them was wasting your Qi on the shield.

I would consider them all embarrassing prior to crit checks, since Ruo would trash all of those fools

(YG in other hand was said to be able to beat 12 Yu Yeong at once. DES is roughly 5 Yu Yeong with perfect team work, Judgement Sect backing and Karmic Arts/Formations specifically made to counter Havoc/Demonic Wu Heir)
Anyway, it's mostly because these fighters in the Arena are supposed to be quite strong indeed, as they are, all of them, commissioned. Yes, all Arena fights are actually commissions from the fandom to Nicky.

Yeah I know. I did say one of the problem with the arena is that, all fighters are obviously OC's and they have no business being as strong as they are. I'm glad they're far more reasonable now, fighting them is actually interesting. Doesn't make me roll my eyes
