Tang B/o getting taken off the census in the semis I can see it
That or going fire for fire with elemental dao
It's always badass when you take down someone at their own game. Only if it's acknowledged ofc. Chu Munchen fight was too sandbox and I was hoping using his art better than him would yield unique interactions. Besides, Tang's flames has nothing on MCs elemental fire dao. Maybe that's why the heavens pussied out by giving Ruo sword dao.

Can't mc even beat ruo at sword ?

That’s something I’ve been wondering about, too. The MC uses Body, Elements, and Void because he has a natural talent and aptitude for them—something that further amplifies his spells and learning speed. But I wonder how quickly he would progress in a Dao for which he lacks that talent. I mean, he’d probably still be superior to most geniuses in that particular area, but I wonder if he’d still be on par with a Dao Child.

Chaos Origin Physique doesn't grant talent for Body, Elements or Void in particular, It grants that level of talent for EVERY SINGLE DAO. COP is completely superior to Dao Child in every way except for luck. We could pick up the Dao of Power, the Dao of Creation, the Dao of Separation or any other Dao you can imagine and mog any dao child in there own speciality.

To be honest I am very interested in seeing how Niki will pull off the advancements for both Ruo and the MC if they do happen mid-combat.

Like is Ruo gonna skip PH and just advance into Xiantian? Has Ruo been PH this whole time and hiding it somehow? How will a just advanced Qi Sea MC look like if they had all Prismatic Body Stars and Qi Perfection? Is it even gonna be fair at that point?

Like I remember that Niki at some point said that an extremely talented Qi Sea Cultivator can fight and even win against the weaker Shangtians, so how will a just advanced perfected Qi Sea Wu Heir look like? It's clear that the power ceiling for both Qi Refining and Qi Sea is higher than their respective MA stages, as even Chao who is the unqestioned strongest Xiantian stated that he can't even touch the weakest Shangtian in any meaningful way. While we at the absolute peak of Qi and Body Refining at 1-star absolutely molest any Houtian who is not Ruo.

Would be cool if a Xiantian enforcer flies in to stop or interrupt the match in some way and we can just ***** slap him to showcase the new power and continue the fight.

A man can dream...

But it's funny to imagine going:
"Hmph, treasures are crutches. Only vermin would rely on them, what matters is your own strength!"

*casually opens console, setting stats to 250 and unlocking all daos + talents*
Ever since Tri Dao became unlockable for everyone, I've been using the console just to edit relationships. That and, more recently, I added the Phoenix talent, since my playthroughs always include Iron Will and Regeneration.

COP is all about making cultivation trivial and understanding dao unparalleled. But TW and LB said multiple times that branching out your dao means non perfection at them in the same rate. The fact MC is the best at 3 different daos speaks for itself. I believe its partly due to MC's heritage. MC would have a more difficult time if they werent a TW clone to pursue multiple dao just like TW did. Would it be easy to contemplate sword dao? Yes it will be. Would it be on par with Ruo? I'd say it might even be better if MC only practiced sword dao. MC understanding would be on par with Ruo or better but since MC needs to allocate time to all their daos, that would mean the progress would be inferior to Ruo. Plainly speaking, I'd say the capability for understanding any dao including the sword is on par if not possibly greater for a COP holder compared to a dao child. But the progress will only matter if its their sole focus. Besides, there's a reason the heavens want the COP. If they could replicate its feats, then they wouldnt worry about it. That can only mean that COP is better than whatever understanding the heavens gifted to a dao child. Their only advantage is outside circumstances which the heavens could shape for their dao child's benefit.

Yes, COP does that. The whole thing about Body, Elements, or Void is more specific to the MC—as if his body and mindset were better suited to these three than to the rest. I remember Nicky giving the example of Ruo, where even though he can use World Burning Art, it isn’t suitable for him and doesn’t have the power it should have.

But of course, he admitted that this is only the case because otherwise it would be too much work.
