Does anyone know when the next update is coming? It's already been nearly an month and not a single sneak peek in sight.
Still glazed more than us btw, Ruo is the greatest PR merchant. I was rereading RI recently, why can't we get the amount of glaze Fang Yuan gets? Like jesus f*cking christ, the glaze is so insane that even the "with sole exception of satoru gojo" statements fell weak.

So I've y'alls discussions on why Ruo can never reach godhood and all i can say is, nah he will.
Think of it this way, Wu heir is the incarnation/representative of Tang Wei while Ruo is the representative of the heavens. Wu vs Ruo is just a proxy war for Wei vs heaven.
When Tang Wei didn't die and reached godhood, (i'm assuming here) heavens didn't let his wife reincarnate which is why he needed to go to the underworld (we know reincarnation exists in this world, especially for mortals). When he made the ritual for going to the underworld, heavens ruined his ritual and trapped him exhausted and damaged in a barren qi-less world.
When Tang Wei massacared hundreds of thousands into qi to regain some of his cultivation and managed to carve out the "Celestial Empire" to get the Sovereign's attentions, heaven (most likely) made the Sovereign go into seclusion with his harem at that same moment which meant that Tang Wei's plans failed again.
When he created the godchild bloodline plan and decided to have 9 kids who'd go on to spread his divine bloodline and put a trigger which would a bunch of Tang Wei clones with the hopes of atleast one clone being a perfect clone body which he would occupy to the genocide all godchildren/god descendants to gain enough power to return to the Celestial realm, heavens made sure he failed again by (I'm assuming but it's kinda implied) creating the prophecy of Tang Wei's second coming (33 or so people going into coma and repeating it if i believe correct) and most likely facilitating the Rogue clans getting into contact with LB which meant they would then try their best to prevent it.
Also, by most likely giving Wu heir's grandpa the knowledge of severing the connection to Tang Wei and most likely also heaven's work to make sure that Tang Wei's perfect clone just happened to be born as the grandson of the only one capable of severing the tie. Heavens most likely knew that Wu Chao's child would be the perfect clone since he was said to be as talented as Yichen despite Wu clan having less resources, so Wu Chao most likely has more talent than Yichen. Wu Chao also seems to be favored by heavens from what i can guess, since he found the perfect aura method or something about how his self created technique was something he found in a danger zone or something in one of the qnas. Wu Chao also said his love for Wu heir's mom was magical, most likely heavens caused the woman to run away from the island, and then for Wu chao and her to meet and fall in love to ensure that the Wu heir's connection to Tang Wei would be severed.
The heavens most likely knew that without Wu heir being a Tang Wei connected, Tang Wei's half-dead soul either wouldn't (or more likely couldn't) posses Wu heir and Tang Wei most likely also couldn't possess LC or the demon ***** due to their blood purity being too low or something. All in all, the heavens are Tang Wei's greatest hater and in the end, they won, Tang Wei is truly dead. Wu heir is after all not truly Tang Wei.
But Wu heir is also a COP possesser and has the talents and soul and dao of Tang Wei + being a pureblood godchild, meaning he's much much more talented than Tang Wei, and cultivation is the act of going against the heavens. So naturally the heavens will now be Wu heir's biggest op. So while Tang Wei created Wu heir, his masterpeice and magnum opus, the heavens most likely created Tang Ruo as their magnum opus to counter Wu heir.
Think about it, Yichen got the information of how to put dragons into Ruo from thin air in his qna, aka most likely something the heavens uploaded to his mind. The heavens cannot directly create a god, as a god is something seperate/outside of the influence of heavens. So the heavens first make Ruo a heaven's child or whatever, make him be born to incredible resources, give him the greatest talent for sword dao as well as the resources to create his own sword dao independent of the heavens (tang jia plus the sword elder in the sect) (and yes, Ruo's goal is to create an independent sword dao, his sword dao is not given by the heavens as much as haters like to say, it's something he achieved himself. Heavens simply gave him the talent and resources to best use those talents).
Plus him being stuffed with thousands of dragons. Won't surpirse me if somehow Ruo keeps pace with Wu heir due to him having not just the second best talent + heaven's favor + (most likely a immortal emperor or even god teacher that he'll get due to his physique. LB did say that his blessing would mean that great sects would compete to have him as their student since he's gaurenteed immortal emperor level if i remember right) + a thousand dragons. I know the dragons seem useless but my theory is that the dragons only will become useful when an realm with qi just like Wu heir's COP.
All that said, if dream dude with his dogshit talent can become a god, Tang Ruo definentely can. Since i believe the main distinction between godhood is not qi or talent but dao comprehension as those with deeper dao can beat those a few realms above them and beating others is the best way to gather resources in xianxia. Tang Ruo will keep pace with Wu heir till immortal emperor. then he'll sacrifice his phyisque to gain a chance at godhood but the dragon bs will come to save the day and it'll be revealed that he won't have to restart his cultivation and the dragon souls grant him an equally powerful heavenly dragon physique but without the strings attached of the dao child and then he'll ascend to godhood to keep Wu heir in check.
since y'know, all gods are equal in power, except the Sovereign but even he isn't too much more powerful than the gods or atleast he isn't implied to be. So a Ruo god to keep Wu heir god in check is most likely heaven's bet. And knowing Nikki's crush on his daddy Ruo, this is the most likely outcome.
So I'll end this long long post with a simple phrase- ruin heaven's plans, make love with ruo, not war.

At this point I'm expecting something like a boarding school juliet situation where Wu heir genuinely gets frustrated over Ruo being dense and talks like "Why tf do you even think I've tolerated your dumbass this entire time???" During the end fight and causing a whole scene lol Then again, the festival invite scene Nicky will eventually write has my hopes to be something remarkably entertaining.

the festival invite in my mind, will just end up with ruo going "i though this might help me in cultivation, this is useless, you're a useless trash bum while Im the heavely chosen future empress of the celestial empire, grandaughter of Yichen, the dragon taming tyrant, neice of Tang Jia...." and just goes on and on and on with her calling us trash and hyping herself up cause we all know how Nikki is.
There's no ****ing way Ruo accepts the invite bro. At least not without a charisma check manipulation or being forced by her family members lol. That's why I really want to see it
more like prestige check + a vit, str, agi, con check cause she'll try to strike us and then a cha check.
It doesn't make sense from a storytelling standpoint though, Nicky is only going to write till Nascent Soul and he has confirmed that Ruo will only keep up till immortality since Dao Children lose a massive amount of their advantage at that point. Ruo is our rival but a Xianxia story goes on for so long that Ruo will get stale at some point, heck Nicky is already getting a bit tired of her. Wu Heir will have new rivals, new opponents, new enemies, bro has absolutely no shortage of enemies. If Poma genuinely continued till immortality with 1 book for each stage, we might genuinely be here for actual centuries.
No cultivator truly has their own dao till immortality but dao children have a majority of their Dao composed of heaven's Dao understanding, not their own and this is because heaven transmits their own understanding into a dao child which the dao child thinks is their instinct.
Dao Child is not something you can just remove anyway, you have to abandon your previous body entirely to get rid of it and that also means no dragons and even then a physique is not entirely a physical thing. The main problem is that once a dao is formed, even if Ruo changed her body, the dao will never change, it's one of the very very very few things that is unchangeable in the Nicky verse.
Honestly if Nicky just removed any kind of concrete rules from his novel, I will be very disappointed because that is just trading the quality of the story for hype value.
Ruo has the greatest Sword Talent independent of her physique and that talent is enough to become a god. The completely abnormal level of growth that Ruo is experiencing is cutting her own potential short.
Even if we ignore all that and say Ruo can become a God, It's going to be difficult, You think other Dao Children have not existed before? That they haven't cultivated to Immortal Emperor and tried to remove their physique? Dragons are not some kind of creatures that are beyond the heavens, they are just the most powerful species created by the heavens (tho species not created by the heavens but rather born from the Primordial Chaos like the Chaos Leviathan might be stronger).
The entire story and Ruo's purpose is not to keep Wu Heir in Check but rather to act as a sleeper agent that will kill us once we fulfil whatever purpose the Heavens have for us. The entire world is going to stand in our way including Ruo because if we become a God, Not even Goddess Ruo will be able to match is. Like it's genuinely over if Demonic Wu Shen becomes a God.
In many Xianxia the MC is not the strongest, but POMA is genuinely not that kind of novel. We will be the strongest, not relative to the Gods but even stronger than heaven but we have to get to that stage first, that's the entire challenge and the point of this story. The Reward is omnipotence.
All the gods are cats compared to the tiger that is Heaven. Why is Heaven scared and jealous of us then? Because their must be SOME kind of hidden mechanism in COP that neither TW not Wu Heir discovered that is causing the Heavens to be envious.
I agree, my theory is that we could become the embodiment of chaos, which is to say we could shatter, warp and imitate heavens laws on demand.
where do you get your lore from. Seriously, are there lore books or something that nikki has made or did you get it from just being chronically online on his discord server? Cause if it's the latter, sorry to tell you but i don't many people will mind him changing some obscure lore.
