Finally it matters? Like it should have because what is the point of so many Dragon souls that still live in him if they matter less. Infact they should have always mattered.It was legitimately the only thing that can work for Ruo getting busted later too since the amount of souls is a lot and dragons grow stronger just by eating and sleeping.

Good on niki to finally use the most obvious thing from Ruo to make her stats and future stuff make sense.Since Ruo has like 100+ dragon souls in her so yeah that thing should have been the only real factor rather than this dao child sh*t.

I remember when all of Us here used to talk how those dragon blood and souls should have been used as the reason for Ruo's power but niki back then said nah it doesn't matter that was so retard*d lol like why have that **** atleast now Yichen murking the dragons doesn't look as stupid it's still bad but atleast it gives something to Ruo.

Exactly, it should always have been important. It was just stupid of Nicky to suggest otherwise.

It’s just my view, but Nicky should simply have always focused on the dragon souls and left the whole sword business as simply Ruo’s natural talent, not a gift from the Heavens that "explains" every absurdity. Dao Child remains POMA’s biggest mistake.

It also kind affects her story, since her story is intertwined with purity culture.

Her story involves members of martial society shaming her because of her physique, despite her never using it, they nontheless label her as a slut, or as the community here says, a bicycle

The thing is these labels hold power only when there is shame in being sexual, and it is almost 100 percent applied and enoforced on women

If Ai were to become a male this aspect of her story would be diminished, due to the lack of male sexual purity, both in the martial world and the real world.

(Male) Ai would instead be lauded as a player and the amount of (precived) ***(by the martial world and most likely the POMA community) would become a source pride and an avenue for compliments rather than source of shame and ridicule

There is a reason that a man that sleeps around (and is precived negatively) is called a man *****, because all whores are women and being a man ***** is an exception to the rule

Note, there is name for a man who spends time with a women only for their money is called a gilatto (I think), the male equivilant of a gold digger

But that come more as a result of anyone ,no matter the gender, spending time and dating someone purely for their money is almost always precived negatively

Oh boy, if its so boring for us crazy poma fans regarding the tigress/tiger content, imagine how it is for Niki. He must be scowling and seething, banging his head on his pc to write Mei content and sprinkling Ruo glaze wherever he can. This is the first time since i started following poma updates that im genuinely not excited for an update lol. But good on him for trying to give content for RO's without any. I am of the mind that Tigress is not a strong character narratively or among the readers.Mei, Ruo, Caihong (even though im not a fan), Ai all have interesting background and their romance actually adds to the MC's character arc. I see Tigress more as a bro like Jing Guo, the scarce time she appeares that is. I doubt one update is enough to change anything but we'll see.

She was? Male Ai would never work in a cultivation story. Besides, I thought Ai's physique was a female specific one? Something to do with Yin energy needing yang and the very implicating tattoo on her lower belly. I like it when a stories has gender stereotypes and stereotypes in general. Stereotypes have some element of truth to them which makes it more immersive and real. And gives the readers all the more satisfaction when we can break those stereotypes.
