Aura Clash will punish specifically being demonic (which may include being comically evil), being normal evil is technically still allowed as long as you're a net positive for the world. Being demonic means you're feeding the actual demons within the hell dimensions of AC verse.

You can get away with being a net negative too as long as you aren't becoming murder hobo and also if you are strong enough so being a net negative will work because top tiers fighting would mean too many people will die because an evil person won't go to a wasteland and will also use people in vicinity as an advantage the only time a powerful non demonic evil tyrant will be killed if they are a murder hobo because then the tyrant would kill more people than whatever collateral will happen anyways so it's better to have a big collateral loss once instead of letting a powerful murder free.
So plenty of evil tyrants in AC all of them simply like having power and their civilizations or seat of powers prosper.Now for demonic you can be morally good too but even evil tyrants will cull you for it only exception being new yomi but even new yomi lords show off their civilization doing better than other lords lol.

Massively agree, because right now i don't like the fact that we have to basically suck up to powerful figures to get crumbs of real power which really sucks ***, like the game forces us to pick a side between a spoiled kid, a dying fossil or an insane *****, all of whom treat our wu heir like an ignorant child while being irritable and arrogant, not choosing to side with any woul result to us slacking like a bumPersonally, I'd prefer if Tang Wei can be like the "grandpa in a ring" mentor trope of the genre. Imagine instead of the current state of Wu Heir needing to pick a side, we can just be independent and have TW actively teach us real cultivation to make our own destiny.
Maybe like a secret path that requires you to make certain decisions up to the expo and TW being interested to see how his perfect reincarnation would fare this time so he leaves behind a small part of his conciousness within us beside the Chaos Origin Physique and stuff.

I think it would also be much better if we got more events like the preparation for the 3v3 where we got to learn RAF, break our flesh limit, up our regeneration and bypass space lock artifacts, all entirely through our will and through tang wei's memories
On an additional note i pray to Nicky that we get to learn those two chaos spells LB promises us by our own and not having to trade our freedom for them

i remember tang wei say he has set up resources for us to find, but so far now in the final and close to the end of book 1(they say the ending is after tournament right?), there's no mention or progress to Collect tang wei resources
