This one is a bit more interesting than the other. I just hope the conversion rate is good—something like 1 Qi = 3~10K—and, hopefully, that Elemental Dao (because of the metal) will have some impact.

Just when i said poma is just geopolitics, here comes a new sneek peak with currency debasement as a potential game mechanic, or rather counterfeiting in this specific case. The empire's economy is going to crash by the time we're done with it and Yichen will be wondering how tf buying a single moisturizer for his wrinkly *** skin costs 10 million coins. We might even be able to dismantle the empire without killing a single person. Boom, Economic warfare.
Meanwhile the game gets more and more realistic for me as things get more and more miserable and now straight up fraud is in the mix.
Niki FINALLY allowing us to commit mass fraud, counterfeiting and super inflation thats gonna make POMAland's financial situation worse than zimbabwe in 2008.
That's really fun. Just imagine: MC goes on a casual trip outside the sect, kills 5 Peak Houtians for one reason or another, and boom—he makes anywhere from 105 to 400k (based on my made-up numbers of 3 and 10k), depending on the conversion rate from Qi to gold.
Money from Mom? Give it to Chao. Asura deal? Pocket money. An allowance from Yichen? Just a nice treat.
Finally, a definitive reason to give up on the chance to kill He Gang.

Realistically its going to be a per turn thing, unless niki decides to do it with limits, so that you dont get infinite money and qi from the haggler perk

No doubt about it. There will definitely be a limit per free roam (like removing impurities) or even something with a cooldown (like Phoenix Heart).
With this addition hopefully we will also see better performing treasures pop up in the store in the future. The kind that can compete with Ruos getup even if paying for such treasures is the equivalent of pelting the peasants with gold for fun.

Yeah like isn't TW famous for creating two immortal magics that were so ridiculously overpowered that not even GODS could learn them while being a MORTAL tier cultivator??? You would think Wu Heir would already be creating some spell that make dao relic tier artifacts from horsepiss and dogsh*t.

Even just using qi to pay would be much cooler than meeting he Gang for it. I hate that dude. Does this mean I've gotta make a playthrough where mc likes he gang?
Still could be a great way to learn how to create QI stones ourselves and use them to barter with other factions both local and otherwise.
I smell some scam
Qi Duplication is for sure some cheap basic technique that every Qi Refining dude learns and he is gonna scam the **** out of us by selling us this basic technique for the price of 5 quintillion sneakers
Loving the new sneak peeks to be honest - finally some interesting and forward-moving content.
Been waiting so ****ing long for the Wu Goat to get some buffs and new abilities and it seems like it's coming true. I do really hope that both Sheng Jue and Yue Yan finally hand us those damn manuals, cause without them Body Refining is an absolute Exp drain, and an extremely limited one at that. Curious to see what Yue Yan's manual will look like especially if it's the Void-Grade one.
Lady Butterfly and Yichen's benefits will finally be able to be properly used as well, and I am especially interested in seeing what the whole 'Soul Training' thing will look like and give us practically. Cause if you already have Iron Will it boosts it somehow like that Elemental Regeneration upgrade if you already had Regen before comprehending it, and if you don't have IW maybe it gives it for free or something?
Now that I think about it - I understand why Nicky has been pushing the tournament and main story content off and off for months on end. There's just so much stuff to consider now after a whole game of promises, favors, and trades the Wu Heir made and was offered.
