I found the fight interesting, because in the first half it’s more as if the MC is trying to match Tigress, but from halfway through – if you get past the checks, of course – it’s clear that the MC is the superior one (although it’s not an overwhelming difference, just a significant one) and it’s Tigress who has to catch up, even healing herself completely twice (or just once, I can’t quite remember).
But as for it being a draw, I’m only certain that Tigress is confident that’s the case, but again, I doubt the MC would lose in a life-or-death fight.
I mean, once we go all-out(Transformations) it's straight-up bullying too. Specially the elemental one, dear lord. Nicky could also add a Tri-Dao scene in the final.

Guys, i know this may seem strange but tigeress actually may have a real chance against the mc currently, her art/artifacts is focused on devouring and absorbing power, and that's not only limited to beastial abilities, remember the old versions and the deathclaw attacks she used on the guards? I would wager thats an ability to instantly absorb lifeforce (Hell, maybe even qi too) with attacks, also she has quite the arsenal of bestial abilities, i mean, for ****s sake she somehow has an aura which is a Xiangtain only power.
I am prone to believe that the first or the second are more likely, the third honestly feels a bit of an exaggeration on my part.
She is somehow connected with barbarian Xiangtains from the savage west.
My thoughts exactly, either the ability was Xiangtain tier, or fueld by a Xiangtain tier mechanism (since she used aura to do it), or in the worst case scenario, our space locking still doesn't work on some types of space locking methods such as beastial abilities.

Unless you’re referring to ‘aura’ (with a lowercase ‘a’), I don’t recall seeing anything to suggest that. Perhaps a specific route? Do you have a screenshot?
I don't have one sorry, but, you know you remember the perfection aura of wu chao? She has one too, a predation aura, it's not impossible to form an aura at houtain, it's actually a central step into reaching Xiangtain, as i said, being a central step actually means that most that form it instantly form it whilst breakthrough into Xiangtain, or breaking into Xiangtain shortly after, that means that tigress is currently at the very peak of houtain, a pusedo Xiangtain, which honestly changes nothing considering that this is the minimum level of power if she wishes to fight and kill a Xiangtain.
But that's not a rule, some extremely rare houtains may form aura much earlier, both naturaly or through unique methods, for example, during hei mei and blood hunter event hei was selling an aura forming elixir that's Astonishingly costly, alchemy can create or help with the creation of an aura (i really hope i can ask her for one), it's also possible that mei herself sort of Awakened aura since she used flight before, which is a Xiangtain level ability that works ultizing aura, it's also possible to be formed through special arts apparently as it's possible that tigeress aura was formed due to her simply devouring a beast that had the ability to use it.
