And also Nicky in this statement was already writing Tigress fight, so, in my view, the rank would be something in the likes(At the current history);
1) Shengjue(YG absorbed). 2) Yang Gan. 3) Wu Heir. 4) LDQ(I've my reasons). 5) Tigress. 6) LH/Half-formed GS Tang Ruo. 7) Fused Twins(Considering them as a single entity). 8) Liu Yutai. 9) Song Edu.

I'm also obviously disregarding outliers like the Devil(would thresh all other eight at same time), Tigress heart thing, Yutai partial-Aura(Apparently he'll have it), Ruo's X+ level artefacts...
Also Yutai > Edu is said by Nicky too, it's something about Yutai being 15% stronger than Song Edu.

There's a serious chance Yutai will become stronger or even a Xiangtain if we leave him?

Not surprised considering what he was buying in mei event.

I mean, without LB tutorship he still is just a "ordinary" Houtian. And if I'm not mistaken he's quite young too, in his late twenties. Even though it is older than the freaks(Wu Heir, Tigress and Ruo with 22. LDQ with 23), compared to Yutai who is in his late thirties, it's pretty young.
And let's not underestimate Yutai too, as he is said to be on par to Yang Gan(Pre body-refining).

Speaking of Song Edu, although he’s a character without much content behind him and part of his presence is merely a side story, he’s also one of my favourite characters and I see him as well-developed. The whole story of him rejecting the Butterfly, of wanting to follow in his family’s footsteps even though he knows it’s a dead end that isn’t even suitable for him, and his questioning of the leaders’ decisions, his power – I find all of that really interesting. I think Nicky did a great job there; in fact, I see his pride and arrogance as far more deserved and well placed than any of the nonsense Ruo has ever presented.

Little note: apparently, yang gan himself cannot or will not ever cultivate, not in his own will at least, he is a monk, the reason why monks never reach Xiangtain is because entering Xiangtain makes the user a Pusedo cultivator, cultivator are theifs of the heavens, and never reincante, in some novels, they may reincarnate if they die in nirvana like stage (like nirvana radiance?) but Even then they won't reincarnate but will instead be considered in nirvana, but Even that's notq mentioned in the current story nor possible for Martail artists who purely use their godly blood and physicue and only reach the maximum of shangtian level.

everything you said regarding monks doesn't exist in POMA lore.

Nikiverse monks can still cultivate like being Immortal level. Buddha in Nikiverse is just a guy who became one of the gods with religion the dao he became embiodent of and he is still hated by the heavens like all the human gods

Once you go to Nascent Soul you can no longer recarinate since Nascent Soul resolve taking ownership of your soul from the heavens to yourself. So lower tier cultivators can still recarinate. monks and Nirvana radiance stage don't have anything special regarding this.

Talking about Buddha, it seems then that Dao isn't inherently tied to the path of "normal" Qi cultivation too. Or maybe it could even be something separate to Qi Cultivation per se.
Because to become a Deity, in-lore, is to turn yourself into the very Dao you were the vessel of as a Immortal. And as we already know, there are Deities who didn't developed their path of Qi Cultivation to Godhood(Nihil and Buddha).

I wonder how it works exactly, could be a interesting question for Q/As if the PoMA folk weren't more focused on acting like clowns.

In the story however it's said that no monk ever reached the level of Xiangtain, no?

But beyond any fight I just wanted Devil Wei to teach my Wu Shen how to use Dao, man, this mf is doing things like Black flames that consume light, black holes, blood tendrils, spatial cuts... I'm just tired of long-ranged-punches and avatars.
Though not even the latter we are having anymore as Nicky just copy pasted the physical path. The son of a ***** didn't even had the decency to make the checks be Spell-Power based...1000027340.jpg

That was regarding S not X

And that no POMA monks has reached S level because of the speculation that there worship of a higher power means that they aren't arrogant/see themselves as superiors enough to ascend to S. Nothing to do with pusedo cultivator or them not reaching it because heavens would hate them if they did. And S can still reincarnate

Nikiverse monks don't have this problem

Why can't WE learn from what he did without him teaching us? I mean, we do that all the time!!! The devil indeed does things that, according to the story, are impossible or unusual to the normal, and never before seen, even monkey god wasn't seen teleporting somebody or something else without teleporting himself as well, nor using spatial cuts, same for ice, i didn't see the dark fire thing but instead my MC froze the light with ice why are they different?

The blood tendrils are a form of regeneration or devil only power (blood manupltion?) generally there's some powers and abilities i prefer to call demonic, i don't know how this will affect us in the future but maybe, just maybe, we can master more of such things, even dao it, maybe...

Whenever the devil gains control it messes with MC's memories and forces him to forget what happened. Hell, I'm pretty sure only the MC that's romancing Mei and maybe the Butterfly disciple ones know that they're possessed.

Even if you have Iron Will and resist the devil after already having had a previous breakout the MC is just confused about what they see as an unusual rage.

Very interesting and makes sense, yet I am a bit surprised that the other people of the sect didn't ask, i mean, sure, my arts are already strange, and they should fear me, but still, shangtians, Xians and stronger houtains didn't say anything, i was half expecting to at least have a strange meeting with monkey god, our last meeting showed how intelligent and mysterious he can be if wants.

I think it is because they already know. LB has already turned most of the powerhouses to her side so it would make sense they at least know some version of the truth.
