I haven't seen anyone recommending A World Without You yet, it's about a bitter MC with terminal illness who tends to push people away including the only LI (you can choose the gender), I couldn't count how many times I cried while reading this tbh, though I might be biased because I personally know someone like this so
There's also The Art of Falling in Love by the same author, which is about MC's parents (I haven't read it yet so I can't say if it's tearjerking as well or not)

I can't read it it's so heart wrenching my fragile self couldn't handle the sadness

i'm not sure if this is the right place for this but i just finished playing One Knight Stand wip (tumblr link) (game link)

it was pretty fun! the first chapter was very entertaining and (can be?) very unhinged

somewhat offtopic vent: chapter 2 was interesting, but since only a very small part of it is out so far, the scenes feel lacking and a little disappointing for me (especially after reading ch1)

i understand that this is the norm for WIPs -- especially when the game is still very early in its development -- but i need to let it out somewhere (this is what i mean at the beginning of my post). maybe i should start reading more 'normal', standalone, complete fictional works instead of binging WIPs back to back like this (and then feeling my heart get a little emptier after every "to be continued"s haahahaughh) Yes, I'm fully aware that this is a me-issue
