Summary:

You are a good, upstanding citizen. You’re a devoted best friend, get good grades in college, and life is looking up. You would go as far as to call yourself a good person. That is, until you aren’t anymore.

When your best friend gets cheated on by her ******* boyfriend, you’re furious on her behalf. And when you see him at a party, something in you… snaps. In a fit of fury, you murder him.

And this unleashes a bloodlust in you that no one would have ever expected, least of all yourself. Soon, a terrible, aching hunger forms in the pit of your stomach and travels up to gnaw at your heart. You want to kill – need to kill. The question is: can you get away with it, or are you destined to fall?

Yeah, why would i kill for a best friend i didn't ask for. And it felt too railroaded, first your bff is genderlocked, you don't have a say on how you interact with her, receive comments about you 2 making a beautiful couple but can't say anything if you aren't attracted to her ( she will just say she already has a boyfriend as if it's the only thing in the way ), you are forced to feel protective of her, and live through the cheating scene ( wow, that was awkward ), have to say something to defend her ( like, just shut up ) even though you had rather be anywhere else or just watch from the sidelines, MC says without input that bff is the best girlfriend. It feels more and more like we are jealous of the boyfriend and want the bff ( add to this that she is actually an RO and is attracted to MC's bloodlust ), so we kill him. It would have rolled better if it was MC's partner, but the story as it is, is too restrictive. It doesn't have a forum thread because it would be the first thing pointed out, not many would like to play a murderer without being able to choose how they felt or went about the murder, let alone kill someone's else boyfriend.

I wanted to add this too, I refuse to read that book because of that entire premise,
Best friend was cheated on but why would I ruin my life because of that? Cheating is bad yes and I agree but why would I? Who wasn't cheated on go outta my way to murder.... Nahhhhhhhhhhhhh
