That's exactly why i said thought provoking IF you're critical of the media you consume. Otherwise you can just enjoy as it is for niche fantasy it caters to.
Hmm, what happened to that game that was mostly about revenge, the MC comes back from the brink of death, betrayed by some people, now filled with vengeance... The goes after them. The scene ends with them having some kind of transformation, then fighting a meta human. Is it dead or?
I think you mean Project Variant? It was never updated after some fixes. IIRC people believed it was an author going by an alias or something.

- Make drinks and serve customers during dinner rush.
- Meet the well-to-do Lyons couple at La Table, then serve them when they take a liking to you!
- Hopefully, emphasis on hopefully, make a little money.
