New IF: The Show Must Go On (Prologue + Chapter 1 & 2)

Summary:

You were a movie star, a sensation that took the world by storm, America's Sweetheart, the one with all the awards and charming speeches capable of making Award Hosts blush.

That is... Until a misunderstanding turned scandal turns you into Hollywood's newest disgraced actor.

But never fear! Your steadfast agent, Faust Villone, arranges your return to glory by getting you cast into the buzzing comedy sitcom "The Herrindales", about a family that used to be filthy rich but after bankruptcy is forced to move to the suburban neighborhood of Calpurnia, having to come to terms with their new reality, middle-class jobs, drama, the highs and lows of teenhood, young adulthood and how their love for each other is capable of weathering any storm.

At first, you're uncertain about your place in the project, but as time passes and you deal with drama backstage, befriend your fellow co-stars, find romance and power through your personal redemption arc, you realize you've found an everlasting family.

A/N: This new chapter is 50k words, bringing the grand total to 185k.

There are a few scenes that run long with little opportunities for choice. In those instances, I tried to factor in your previous choices as much as possible. In fact, this whole chapter has variables firing left and right, lol. I think it’ll be a fun experience for those of you with multiple playthroughs. 😁

Features:

💀 The second part of chapter three is here. It has nearly 25k words of brand-new content.
💀 First glimpse of the Prince/ss of Solaris (poor Nick, I apologize).
💀 Dear Éoin takes care of Death, or at least tries to.
💀 New choices focused on Death's new dominion and A LOT of variations.
💀 Fixed typos and tweaked a few scenes for better flow.

I'm confused, on cogdemos it says the last update for Sword of Rhivenia was in november of last year and I can't find any post from the author about a new update
 
Update: The Split (Chapter 4 Part 1)

A/N: Hello!

We're dropping the start of Chapter 4 and moving forward with the main plot.

With the dating season now behind us, we know there are still some rough transitions between the “dates” in Chapter 3, and we'll come back to those later.

For MC's romancing Sieun or Seb, there's only a neutral path available for now.

This update adds roughly 20K words of new content, but the biggest portion goes toward major progress on the soulmate route.

I also finished writing all the possible outcomes for MC's sweet time with Mark during the “fishing trip.” That makes 7 different outcomes in total. It was a real headache. 🤯

I'd really appreciate bug reports because those fishing trip endings make this extra branchy.

Anyone else finding it difficult to scroll past/incapable of scrolling past the posts that Eren shares directly from Tumblr? Feels like your touch doesn't pick up. And someone pointed this out to Eren already but they don't seem to care.

After finally like straight up gagging myself BDSM type $hit to read this made me realize that this is just $hitty silent hill like dollar general, temu, sheine (or however the fück the name is) type $hit

Like instead of going after your wife and going through James most deepest personal trauma and fighting against metaphysical representations of them, you go after your bum of a sibling getting trapped on wannabe silent hill and fight against the eeeeeeeeeeeevil fog that controls peoples mind ತ⁠_⁠ʖ⁠ತ

And the RO are just YA slop with one or two that are fun to romance them, one being the short thicc conspiracy loving creature (mostly because they're the doormat type of character) and the a$$hole author just because they give as much as they receive
