Public Updates (CogDemos, Itchio and VNs)

Update: Walls of Natrun (Chapter 8: Betrayal Update)

Chapter Eight has been made public, alongside a mini-chapter that can only be reached by failing hard enough in Chapter Five. This brings the game to 538K words and adds many new opportunities to fail in big and small ways. Vaguely thematic for Halloween.

New IF: First Night
by the author of Small Fires

You've been bitten by a werewolf and infected with the curse. Bummer! But whether you're ready or not, it's now your first full moon as a beast of the night: go shopping, weird out your roommate, and try not to die horrifically. Maybe you can even find love? Or at least get your freak on.

First Night is a text-based werewolf survival game made with Twine. It features 12 unique endings--some good, some bad, and some downright despicable--and is designed to be replayed multiple times. Find them all!

Update: Ardeal

So in this 28k words update you can:

- Spend a day with an RO.
- Try out five different jobs.
- Pet puppies or don't.
- Give your own cabin a future style.
- Eat what you want (or don't).
- Shift into your wolf form (or don't... on some routes).
- Talk with Conny alone... or don't.

New IF: The Weeping Valley (Prologue)
by the author of The Forest

A prequel/side story for The Forest set long before it begins.

You are Starborn and a Thirdborn though neither of those things matter yet. What really matters is the gift you've yet to receive, a curse if you ask anyone else.

Though you aren't alone, there are many like you.

In the Prologue you'll get to:

☆ Customize your character.
☆ Meet a few people.
☆ Learn a few things.
☆ Get your start to a new life.

And remember:
“The beginning is always today.” - Mary Shelley

Update: Inland Ocean (Chapter 2)

(A/N): Happy Halloween! Chapter 2 (version 0.2.0) is now available on my itch.io page. Encounter some strange occurrences and try to avoid negative consequences. Adds ~20k words.

In addition to game content, version 0.2.0 includes some UI changes that will hopefully make the menu more intuitive, especially on mobile.

My final editing pass over for chapter 2 was fairly rushed since I wanted to get it up before the end of October. There may be some errors (spelling, grammar, continuity, bugs, etc) that I missed. I intend to do a bit more editing for version 0.2.1.

Existing links to both my tumblr and itch may be broken as I have changed usernames for both. I think all links on my pinned post and itch page should be updated.
