No I try to convince bernadotte. After that i help both Gudin and frian because my skill check is always greenDid you fully upgrade III Corps? Did you arrive at Auerstedt early? Did you let Friant and Gudin handle the opening fight?

Trying to convince Bernadotte will make you miss the early arrival and a chance to deal -3 dmg to the Prussians' strength in the opening fight, so you'll never have total victory. No I try to convince bernadotte. After that i help both Gudin and frian because my skill check is always green
Thank you for letting me knowTrying to convince Bernadotte will make you miss the early arrival and a chance to deal -3 dmg to the Prussians' strength in the opening fight, so you'll never have total victory.
I follow the above instructions by com_enjoyer, at first I'm not meeting with bernadotte and just send letter, later when the enemy appears i chose let Gudin and frian to do their work without my help, then i keep defending until the end using all the uption I get from preparation gun, skirmish, and cavalry charge, after that 3 option exhausted i chose the skill check. The end of battle i got the dying Duke being carried to my feet and get him captured.@Kay What is the exact sequence of moves needed to capture the Duke of Brunswick? I do what you say, but while I can smash the Prussians quite thoroughly, I can't capture the Duke.
Counterattacking after just two defensive actions is causing a debacle for me, despite maxing out III Corps.Max out III Corps' stats by upgrading everything (officers, staff, artillery, supplies), skip the Bernadotte visit and move your corps to Auerstedt early, let Friant and Gudin handle the opening fight, do 2 defensive actions, then counterattack.
If you do everything right, you'll capture tens of thousands of prisoners, a stack of Prussian regimental colours higher than your head, and the Duke of Brunswick himself as your prisoner. Napoleon will spend almost the entire post-battle bulletin praising you as the heir to Frederick the Great.
Not the counter attack, there another option of charge while defending i forget the exact name of option but there 3 option from max preparation. I also keep defending until the endCounterattacking after just two defensive actions is causing a debacle for me, despite maxing out III Corps.

The Prussian strength variable at Auerstedt is set at 9.Counterattacking after just two defensive actions is causing a debacle for me, despite maxing out III Corps.
I read in console command code there some way we can get promotion into marshal during this act 4 because there act4 promotion marshal score? Do you know how to do it?The Prussian strength variable at Auerstedt is set at 9.
If you arrive at Auerstedt early and let Gudin and Friant handle the opening clash, -3 to Prussian strength. This requires a fully upgraded staff.
If you do 2 defensive actions, -4 to Prussian strength (each takes 2 off the enemy, if the army component you deploy is fully upgraded).
Leaving it at 2, which is the perfect counterattack moment for total victory.
Nope, that $act4_marshal_promotions variable is the officers' score for III Corps. A higher score just means that you promoted more good officers to serve.I read in console command code there some way we can get promotion into marshal during this act 4 because there act4 promotion marshal score? You Can evacuate Dumas from Egypt?how does Napoleon's favor works that accumulated during the italian campaign? if not wrong you can get 2 - 3 that you can exchange later for promotion to evacuating egypt, my problem is that did you only get one from Napoleon? like if i ask for promotion at the start of Egypt it seem i can't get Dumas to evacuate later, in reverse you can keep the Favor to get Dumas out but with the risk of not having high enough rank later for Marshal promotion.
