Some of my mods (New game/update added: October 27)

@json2609
I've uploaded both the apk and html to the gofile here. Hopefully this site will work for you:
https://gofile.io/d/24701fd0-818a-46e6-99d5-293b8a7fead1

If anyone needs any other games uploaded elsewhere, let me know. I'm just lazy because both gofile and buzzheavier are more strict on removing inactive files. I need to organize things better now that I have more than a couple of games here lol

@Raistlan71
Added an update to The Magician's Burden to the first page, so you have the option to play the deleted chapter 8 after chapter 7. There will be some slight continuity errors. Depending on where you are in the game, it might refresh and take you back to the beginning of the chapter you are on, since I had to modify the scene files.

If you find any errors, please tell me the variable name and line number. There were a lot of extra variables in the old files that had been removed in the new. I took out what I found, but I'm sure I missed something. If I did, it might be a little while before I can fix the issue.

This story means a lot to me, so thank you once again!!!!!!! 😊😊😊😊

Thank u for doing this since dei arcana is too busy and dan fab has too much to do so no one will be modding hc games except for pc and not everyone uses a pc . Fyi, the buzzheavier files for the mage's adventures no longer exist in case anyone wanted those so may need to be reuploaded.

Added the following to the first post:
Weyrwood
Guenevere (old WIP that has not been updated in a long time, but is one of my favorites)
Way Walkers University 1

Weyrwood and WWU were modded by Dei, but don't have a save plugin. Likewise, Guenevere is on cogdemos but lacks a save plugin.

Some other useless things (only applies to the 3 above games):
I noticed the sepia color setting is not that different from white. I tried making a new color that is more sepia than CoG's sepia. It still might be pretty light, but at least I can tell the difference between it and white. Does not overwrite the original sepia option, if you prefer it.

I added a "Toggle Theme" button that will: Turn OFF animations, and toggle through the color themes (black -> my edited sepia -> white -> original sepia... I think). If you play with animations on, this feature is not useful. Sorry. I added it to save me a few clicks, as someone who plays with them off + dark mode. I'm not sure if I will leave this button in or not. I like having it personally, but I know it's not particularly useful lol

[edit] Turns out I mess up the style sheet and forgot to put the "#" on the hexcode for the original sepia. I have reuploaded the files, hopefully correctly. No wonder sepia and white looked the same. Because it was. I mean, it's still hard to tell that much of a difference, but still.

Added Way Walkers University 2 to the first post.

One minor change -
There was a free time choice where the game would break if all of your stats are over 35. I just removed the conditionals. I'm sure it was meant as a boost for low stats, but it is free time. Be free.

Some quirks -
I only just now noticed the stat bars go over 100. I'm sure the first game does too. That's because the game doesn't actually treat them as percentages. It shouldn't hurt anything.

Since this is an older game before CoG restricted book exports, the option to export your save at the end is included (depending on your choices). But you have to click through the game rating and reach the end of the author's note. I clicked through the unmodded official game and it's the same way. So I am leaving it the way it is.

Added Heart's Choice game To The Hilt: Passion Unsheathed to the first page. Gender-locked male MC, male ROs.

In case it comes up, I won't add an "add all items" cheat. I was going to, but then saw nearly all the items are just stat boosts. Only the elixir has a few uses (and even then, those also just amount to stat boosts), so just hang on to it till the end of the game if you want the acknowledgement I guess lol

Will edit this post with changes if they happen. Mostly posting for future reference.

Full disclosure: I used AI to help me add in features from CSGT (and another script) that I have been wanting for years. I've tried to do it on my own several times, but I have no experience with scripts and such. I know AI can be controversial, so I'm sorry if you don't like it (please don't turn this thread into AI discussion).

Things that will be in my future mods (and I will update my old ones eventually as well):
1. (From CSGT extension):
  • Back button
  • View code of current scene (jumps to and highlights the line you are on). Tap inside the window to close.
  • Variable change notifications. Settings in "Menu->Change settings", all are on by default. Can be swiped, or will go away after a timer if left alone.

2. (Idea from ChoiceScript Stats Modifier/Cheat Master script):
  • Within the mod menu, stat bars can be dragged or tapped/clicked to set new values.
  • Stat screen remains static to avoid accidental changes.
  • Optionally can convert other number stats displayed as text into a sliding stat bar.

Other fixes / changes:
1. "Menu -> Change settings" menu further broken into categories to declutter.

2. Back button history is added to save data. Back button now works properly after loading a save. (In original CSGT, using the back button right after loading a save would jump back from where you were before you loaded the save.)

3. Changes made in the mod menu are added to the game's autosave and are immediately viewable on the stat screen. No need to "return to game -> next page -> stats screen" anymore.

4. Code highlight feature from original CSGT is hopefully a bit more accurate. Previously if the line of code you were on was blank, it could appear as though nothing was highlighted. Blank lines are now ignored, next line is highlighted instead.

5. When you click on Show Stats, Menu, or Achievement (if applicable) buttons, other buttons except those 3 buttons get hidden until you return to the game. Not super necessary, but you can't save on those screens anyway and there was some minor weirdness if you used the back button on them.

6. New notification settings. Change the corner the notifications pop up from (and they slide out in corresponding corner). Choose whether the notification colors match the background color, or always use light colors, or always use dark colors. (I only added these bc I messed up the CSS earlier, and it gave me the idea of adding options after fixing... Light color notifications are quite pretty in dark mode lol)

I will post some modded games with these changes within the next few days (probably, I keep finding things to fix/change/add) but wanted to keep that post separated from this one.

hi can you try and make a mod menu for tainted souls: fables & myth - the bonded awakening it's so peak game but so hard to play
I will try to take a look at it when I have time. The code isn't publicly viewable, so I might not be able to grab all the files.
