Something from your childhood you miss now

i miss the Lego man i made i was so excited when i made it that i showed it to my mother then i will dissemble it and make it again and show it to my mother again like it was something different i kept doing it to my mother for 3 days straight to the point my mother took it from me and dissembled it and created it in front of my eyes and i was astonished like i saw an alien

I don't remember most of my childhood but I miss being able to make friends easily, such a good time.

I was sixteen when I wrote this, now I have a lot of friends so I guess it is a win? I gonna take that W.

Now I miss my dad and dad's family, we live far from each other and I miss being a country girl and run around with a worm in my hands or feeding the chickens. Just being carefree and joyful again before everything happened.

I really miss my adopted grandmother. She unfortunately passed during covid. I remember her getting sicker as time went by and coming to the realization that I was about to lose someone i really adored. In moments of reflection, I see the memories we created and in ever one her love and care for me present.
Getting older was realizing that finding a love so unconditional would in most lifetimes be hard to come by and yet she gave it so freely to me, adding so many great memories along the way. What I wouldn't give to tell her how much her actions were all appreciated, adding so much value to my life.
She contributed to my love of reading and the library she had was a young girl's paradise. My favorites series growing up were The Babysitters Club, Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys (especially the cross overs) and don't get me started on my Archie comic books collection..... all of my lunch money went into buying them .
