One of the most hated characters in this thread is a really good example of this. The author cannot decide whether or not their character is flawed or perfect. Their best friend, too. How can your story, tumblr, side blog, and patreon all tell different things about your character? Own that they're flawed and complex and need therapy. Is anyone else bored of how inoffensive everything is in newer IFS like everyone is a good person or morally gray even if they claim the IF is going to be #superangsty!!! Kind of just a nitpick but I hate how people will add queer rep too the story but they're so scared of being offensive they just dont do anything with it like you're telling me everyone in a medieval setting is going to be accepting of a character being queer and going to ask me for my pronouns???
(I'm avoiding saying anything because this game has pages and pages of people complaining about it so I'm being vague. I'm not trying to have the same conversation occur)
