I just finished soulstone wars and honestly the author should just write the game as a book and instead of turning it into an interactive fiction because it's so obvious what the main path of the story is. Like that puffin should just do us all a favor and just release soul stone wars as a book.

.- I did not empty Patreon's returns on ROs arousals, author claims, after foot-long commissioned arousals flood their Tumblr posts.
.- Cyberpunk 2077 successor, IF will have pivotal scene changes based on prologue's genitalia customization.
.- They were sending a message, author claims, after waking up with arousals tatted all over back.
Not sure if I'm disappointed or excited at this point, all those arousals hanging around, and I still can't get the one with the pronounced fractal-like pattern of veins my OC would require to overcome his repressed trauma, at this pace I'll have to cryogenize myself

99% of the time it’s endless talk about poly s*x and the ROs’ d*cks, and 1% actually writing something for the IF. If we can even call a couple of vague half-sentences an “update.”Ah, what a good, wholesome, responsible use of money and free-will
And of course, let’s not forget the paid Patreon, which is basically just an extension of the never-ending, universal discussion about the ROs’ anatomy, which, naturally, is extremely vital to the lore of the story!
They’re nothing more and nothing less than the natural apprentice of our legendary Abyssal author, who recently rose from their decades-old sarcophagus to bless us with a two-page “update,” plus some paid Patreon posts about characters you’ve never even seen. Oh, and Sneak Peeks of future chapters you’ll probably only get to read in the next decade!
The truth is, the real fools are us. Making money has never been this easy. All we need to do is write a prologue and a couple of half-chapters, launch a Patreon, and then turn Tumblr into a deep philosophical discussion about the ROs’ genitals. And, to top it all off, disappear for the next five years without posting a single update.
I can't with this sh*t, like why would anyone want to have multiple intercourse(s?) and romantic ties with multiple people? That sounds gross and mentally damaging, sorry not sorry
Oh right there's this recent IF called Bloodline, it's pretty good except the part where we can have a bloody-f*cking-affair (the bloody is not literal, the f*cking though? Not much of an affair without it
) with the MC's boss who's married btw. And of course readers are thirsting over this predatory, ick personified boss very much not real but real character because everything is fine as long as it's fictional

I don’t really have huge problems with poly routes, as long as I can avoid anything related to them and still play a monogamous romance route without issues. The problem is that even if you go strictly for monogamy and avoid every single hint of a poly route, the ROs still act like they’re about to jump each other in front of you. It ends up feeling like they’re basically undressing each other with their eyes, and the only reason they don’t go further is because the MC is there. And to make things worse, when you check the author’s Tumblr, every single ask is about the poly route, which at that point feels like the most canon one for the ROs.
Honestly, I avoid any IF that has too many poly routes, and I always look for the ones with none or maybe just one. Which is getting really difficult, because apparently poly routes and ROs crushing on each other are everywhere right now.
I read Bloodline recently and I actually thought it was interesting, it got me curious. I’ll be keeping up with it for now, I just really hope it doesn’t fall into the same problem I mentioned above. Because if there’s one thing this IF doesn’t lack, it’s poly routes.

The Nightmarket. God this one is sooo disappointing because I really like the world, the concept, and the possible storyline but it's spoiled by the ROs, especially Bella (the obvious protagonist) and Milo (do I even have to explain?)

The thing that I dislike the most about the Night Market tbh is that it is very clear that the author dgaf about the MC. Also somehow the author managed to make every single RO offputting to me, and I usually can stomach at least one per IF.
I actually don't mind polys when it's clear that everyone is into everyone and it's not just MC intruding on two people who have history with each other. And, idk, for some settings that actually would make sense, e.g. historical settings with harems and such. As long as it's optional, I don't really care. I guess it depends on whether you play your MC as self-insert\someone you relate to, or if you RP your MC as someone who might not always share your attitude or strengths\weaknesses'.
Hmm... I've just read the update for Press Play and I have to say this here because somewhere else I feel like I'm gonna be judged lol I love Press Play, I love the story, the writing, the characters but.... I hate this obsession the author has with Stevie! She and Angel are our best friends but it's as if Angel doesn't exist most of the time for the other characters. Playing as a gay guy trying to romance Lincoln and he's always praising her (why not praise Angel too? He's nice and cute), even in our alone time he just had the need to say something like "why don't you text Stevie you're with me, she's so beautiful and nice" Ok, I get it, she's nice and beautiful and perfect and whatever, but can everyone stop talking about her or praising her for five seconds? I just want some alone time with my chosen RO! I get she's the writers favorite but OMG it gets tiring! I actually like her character but sometimes I wish I could be mean to her just because of this favoritism!
Also I think the problem is the poly routes the author is making, they said they're working on the Lin/Stevie/MC right now so I guess this obsession of Lincoln with her is because of that, which is annoying for someone who's playing a MC very much interested in him like me (a very much gay MC to make it even more unconfortable) or someone who's only into monogamy (also like me) but whatever. I guess I have to try Angel's and Zima's routes next to see if they're obsessed with her too lol

Yeah, same here. I’m playing a gay MC too, but luckily (or maybe not) my interest is in Angel, not Lincoln. It’s been a while since I played, but I don’t remember Angel talking about Stevie that much. Maybe once or twice, but definitely not constantly. Or maybe they did and I just blocked it out of my memory so I wouldn’t get annoyed lol. But considering the last time I checked the author’s Tumblr she (I'm assuming it's her) mentioned planning a Stevie/Angel/MC poly route, I’m not sure how long that’s gonna stay true. Wouldn’t be surprised if in the next updates Angel just turns into Stevie’s second hype man. If one wasn’t enough, now there’ll be two.
The author always says she doesn’t like answering too many RO questions because she doesn’t want the IF to just be about romance, and fair enough, the story has bigger themes. But when you look at the actual romance questions, it’s always about Stevie. Sometimes Zima, but mostly Stevie. So yeah, the favoritism is impossible to ignore. She says it’s not there, but come on, it’s pretty obvious.
As for poly routes, I've said everything I think before, but I'll say it again: authors try to do both monogamous and poly options for the same RO, but when it comes to the poly they don’t really know how to make it work. So what happens? The RO basically becomes a cheerleader for the other RO, the MC turns into a third wheel, and it ends up hurting the monogamous route too. Because even if you’re just going for monogamy, you can still feel that “worship the other RO” vibe hanging around. Makes you wanna drop the RO entirely just so they can hook up already. And honestly, multiple poly routes is just overkill.
I forgot to mention Stevie is also the first RO you can have a nsfw scene and you can also already begin a relashionship with her too. 
You can even skip Lin's party and be alone with just her! And of course she's the one to interrupt our kiss scene with Lin! 
Not to mention all the times we can praise her looks! We can even match costumes with her at the Halloween party!
Also, I forgot about that amazing song she wrote for the band. You can even be jealous because she was the one writing such amazing lyrics! Did you know she's amazing and everything she does is amazing and perfect and! Ugh! Enough!! I'm pretty sure I'll start hating her deeper into the story if the author keeps with this.

But yeah, all the asks she answers are about the ROs (mostly Stevie) but yeah. Which is a shame since the story is very interesting and deep. I remember I asked something about the plot once but I never got an answer tho.
Yeah, that's why I almost always avoid RO with a poly route, but in this game is impossible. And also, I hate that in the New Year's countdown if you don't go after Lincoln, and don't want to kiss Angel or Stevie you have to watch the two kiss, your two bffs who've never shown interest in eachother, it's awkward and yeah, not for me. But you're right about everything, that's why Ortega from Fallen Hero is one of my favorite RO, at least he's too into MC to pay attention to the other RO (even tho you can enter a poly with him and one of the others), it's also nice he always choses you over the puppet when you confront him about it.

Reading these posts I'm actually glad I went with asexual, aromantic MC lol (there was Leland, but he's not RO so). The story is so far enjoyable for me without any romantic nonsense. We'll see what kind of dramas come later... after all the band broke up for some reasons 
Stevie doesn't annoy me, but her Mary Sue vibe makes her a little bland and boring character, imo.

I think it's very original, but you're right about the 'interactivity' part, I've thought about that too, but at least we can chose some things during those parts. I just find it kinda boring sometimes (with the managers mainly which I don't really like, and I don't really care about their relashionship with eachother). Also some things said sound out of character for 'my' MC, but overall I like it, at least I don't remember another IF who've done it.
