With everything for this month wrapped up - demo update and short stories - I've moved on with the chapter 4 rewrites. Right now, I'm adding an optional exchange with Alina after Mordred's training session with the Dragon Friend.
Since the second half of chapter 4 sees Arthur potentially visiting Mordred, I was thinking of finally tackling a change I've been wanting to make for a while. I've got feedback about the possibility to keep in touch with Artur just to manipulate him/gain an ally, and I want to include that. It'd mean adding the option back in chapter 3, but otherwise not a whole lot will change; on this route, Mordred will receive a letter from Arthur but not a visit on their birthday, as they claim they'd rather take things slow, welcoming Arthur into their lives.
I also want to give players a bit more options in the way they interact with Arthur; chapter 3 gives plenty of options for Mordred to think of him as more of an uncle, but people have reported feeling like chapter 4 treats him more as a father universally, so I want to make a distinction there, for those Mordreds.
I also posted a small demo patch a couple days ago, where I:
-Added some missing variables in choices.
-Added some dialogue to the Prologue and conversation with Nimue on the beach to reflect a bit of lore so far only mentioned in the short stories: that being the fact Merlin killed Igraine's younger brother, Eli, when he attacked Uther with the intention of killing him.
