this happens to me with any mod apk?what should i do its really getting on my nerves

Uninstall old versions of mods and reinstall with the new versions. Installing new versions on the already installed old mods will cause this error. @urmum21

What I did, was rename the apk file to a zip file. For example, fallenhero.apk, I would rename it to fallenhero.zip. Then, you extract this zip, open the extracted folder, go to assets folder, scroll until you see index, click index, and you can play till your heart's desires!

is there no other way to install the app on top of the previous version to keep the save data?

Nope the mod registers that as an error.

I always thought it was a device issue since it happened to me consistently on my OnePlus and subsequently on the Xperia, but since switching to Samsung, it has virtually disappeared.
